"Yes, that will do. I don't want a fantastic shaman if no one in the pack feels that they can trust her, and I don't feel like I can trust her. A pack without trust in their Shaman, is a pack without faith. Too many have lost that. I will settle for a medium Shaman until we have room for a fantastic one. Until we can manage putting all our efforts into one place, we need the even blend, and that's all there is too it. We are a pack of strong warriors. We must trust one another. Without that, we have nothing. Give us reason to trust you and then you may do as you please. However, I wouldn't mind the occasional appearance, just so we know you're alive. I don't want you to be a soscial butterfly. All things must be even before we can focus on one thing only." Irons seemed satisfied with that answer, glad he was able to get that much out without being angry with her. He just needed to tell her straight what he wanted, and that was it.

He would like to trust in his pack's shaman, of that there was no real doubt. He just couldn't do that yet, and he needed to get both himself, and his pack, to a point where they could all do that. He also needed to get their Shaman to that point, but she was being difficult, which in turn made him difficult. He cursed his mother for that particular trait.
