'Ello! I'm Taevitt, as you can see by the username. I ran across a thread by Vhangar wrote about this guild, and so I clicked a link... And now I'm here! I'm new to Steampunk in general, but I find it fascinating and hope to plan my halloween costume off of it.
I like to draw and watch CSI, as well as design websites and roleplay. I'm pretty open-minded. I think that freeze-dried-strawberries are the best ever. . . I'm also working on a theme for my userlookup about WETA's new collectible rayguns.

Good day. My name is Regulus. I'm quite new to the world of steampunk, considering I basically only fully understood it about yesterday, but all my life I've pretty much been incorporated into it, without quite knowing the name for it. I have a passion for all historical things, and enjoy dressing as such. For those that get to know me, I have tendency for arbitrarily and emphatically jumping into things with every intention of completing it to its fullest degree, even if I don't think everything out quite completely beforehand. As such, I decided that I wish to devote a good deal of my time studying mechanics and metal working so that I can spread to the world the concept of aesthetic machinery over functional machinery. Or rather, aesthetic, yet functional machinery. I hope to fit very well within this guild, and attempt to help it grow, as I also work with my own guild. I hope this will not offend, but lately I have been trying to find a good theme for my guild, as we currently are quite bored with our preceding theme, and from this guild, and my study into the culture of steampunk... I think you can figure out the rest on your own. Thank you for your time.

I've never been very good at introductions, but here goes nothing. Hi! I'm Picara!

I've been into steampunk as a fashion and sort of concept (the usual 'what if this were possible at the turn of the century?' wonderings) for a long time, but it was just recently that I learned the actual name and subsequently became hooked on the whole thing. Admittedly I haven't read or seen much steampunk media (books, movies, etc), but I plan to.

My other favorite things are music, acting (mostly because of the costumes, I'll admit), writing and art, and a wide variety of each. I also love history and just reading about the sort of characters and ways of living that existed a hundred or two hundred years ago. I do roleplay, fairly often actually, but usually just online.

So.. there you have it. It's great to meet you all; this seems like an excellent guild.

I'm so glad to have found this Guild.
I have always been a fan of SteamPunk, without knowing that it was actually a pre-existing fandom/lifestyle/fashiondom/etc.
I am currently fancying the Firefly television series, and Tom Waits's music. Waits himself is oh-so-dashing, and his music is even better.
My hobbies include calligraphy, theology, philosophy, and creating clothing.
