Give up on females!? Wait, back up. Antony's response to that question was highly predictable; arching one brow, he gave the older stallion a 'you've got to be kidding me look' before replying, "Don't worry, Ariston. You might be a handsome fellow, but I'm not swinging towards the stallions yet. I guess I just have to figure things out a bit more, right?"
Grinning, he smiled at Ariston with a confident grin identical to that of his father, albeit one accentuated by sharply pointed teeth. "I'll manage somehow, just got to figure out the details. Everyone has to start somewhere, right?" Even Ariston and Guilian had to have started somewhere!

"Bah," Ariston said, while grinning. "Take what I said however you want, but that's not what I meant. Its important to be keen on which females you choose, and yadda yadda." He sighed but smiled at Antony, even though that was NOT what he meant at all. "Yes, figure things out. And not in a stallion preference, sense." He said, laughing a bit. Oh, Antony was a jokester all right, just like his father.
"I'm really not worried about you at all, just pained to hear what you've gone through already. I guess some have it hard in the beginning, but its easy to rise up and become victorious later on." Ahh, very true. Such a nice twist of fate, he knew it would happen to Antony for sure! "Just don't get discouraged right now, its certainly not worth the effort." He nodded to him kindly.

Man, talk about a strange course of discussion. Nodding his head in agreement with Ariston, Antony suddenly found himself wondering how the hell they'd gotten off on this subject anyway. Ah, the joys of being a male and being alive; somehow, everything came back to mares.
Not as a rule, though. Or rather, not intentionally. He hadn't come to talk because of this, after all! Then again, he hadn't really come to talk other than the sake of random talking...Well, mission accomplished!
Giving Ariston a grin, he looked rather deliberately around the space they were in, noting the lack of anyone else. Considering that Ariston had been alone when Antony found him, he was likely either in search of solitude or awaiting a companion; in either case, he'd probably appreciate being on his own again. "Well, this has been most helpful and interesting, Ariston; I think I'll go see what sense I can make out of it on my own, and in the meantime leave you to your own devices. And if you see my dad again before I do, tell him hi for me!"

"Aye, will do Antony." He smiled to him one last time before seeing him fly off. He wished he could have helped him out more but, hopefully the tides would turn for Antony, and things will clear up in his many scenarios. He knew that Antony could handle himself well, so the initial worry started to wear off, and Ariston went into a strange mindset again before relaxing in solitude.
