"Nu-uh, that's where your wrong. I'd say in cases liek this, a best friend is exactly what you need. Look, you won't be like your parents. They had no idea they were gonna have a kid with weird powers, and it was their own damn mistake for being afraid of you for it. You're savy on the weirdness of all this, at least more so than your average run-of-the-mill human, and you'll do an amazing job raising your kid. I'll be there to make sure of it," she added with a small smile, trying to lighten the mood if at all possible.
