ion
Ion might be out of his price range. Looks like he is going for something that won't cost too much.

I really wouldn't reccomend getting an Ion till you are alittle more experienced in Paintball. An Ion is a electro-pnuematic marker which can be complicated to newer players when it comes to fixing and working on them.Plus with buying an Ion it would be best to buy a compressed air system and a electronic hopper which is going to add another nice amount to the spending list.

I'd still have to suggest either a Tippmann 98 Custom or a Kingman Spyder. The two companys have been around for a long time and it shows why, they both make really good entry level guns for Paintball.

DUDE! Don't get a spyder. No matter what some people say about them, they will all suck. But I'd say go for an omen. Some online stores are having sales and such on omen packages. And at $200, I think it's a steal anyway considering it used to be $450. Whatever you get, just make sure it's not a spyder.

Not too sure what model that suits your spending range sense you haven't mentioned the exact number of cash, you might want to check out online sites and see which models are in your price range.

I have an X-tra it works soo nice, Ive played speedball on it and crawled through marshes and it didnt do anything, Right now mine is covered in ghillie inspected by my dad who was a sargeant in the canadian forces and he said it was good, So I know its good.

But yeah spyder X-tra's are uber. I love mine, But I'm getting a 98 soon.

well,i started out with a Smart parts Ion and i still have it and i play speed ball and a have a team its only 200 dollars and its very reliable. It hasn't messed up on me yet and ive had it for a half a year and it hasn't even chopped yet. i bought the 360 QEV for it and it can shoot about 1400-1500 rounds out of a 68ci 4500psi tank. theres a deal on eBay thats sells a new ion new 68ci 4500psi plus a halo b loader and a Q-lock for 400 so you save about 120 dollars. For woods ball im not sure tippmans are very accurate and you can costimize. hope that helps.

I agree with everyone else, Get a spyder. theyre a good gun, maybe not the fastest or the best out there but they work and thats all that matters. You wont be shooten everyone up on the field playing speed but it well get you the experience you need so when you upgrade to a better gun like a ion you well know what you are doing. But after you get the spyder i would go for the ion or IDC promaster. Both cheep and easy to take care of.

I played my first year with a Tippmann. Never once had a problem with it and to be honest, it actually was able to keep up with the other tourney players who would fork out their soul for a gun and would have no sort of skill or talent. I would mow faces at five bps while their fifteen bps went past my bunker uselessly.

And after that you can move up to the high end guns.

I'll sell one of my five Timmy's for cheap.

dont listen to the nubs who are bashing Spyders, they are good entry-mid lvl markers
if u plan to play Seedball Check Ebay for a E-99, like what was mentioned before
if u cant find a E-99 look into an Imagine or one of the Electronc Pirhanas because the are basically the same marker just with a few minor changes

also get a MOtorized loader with Electronic marekers like these u wont need a Halo or VLocity, a 12v Revolution hooper will suffice
