Fake milk? Ew. Now, I can contest that it's probably better than goat milk, but plain 'ol cow milk is for me.

I prefer soy milk to regular for 2 reasons:
1) It's lighter; doesn't clog your throat as much.
2) The SUGAR!!!!!

I've never tried goat's milk, although my sister does have goats. Is it good?

i'd prefer hamburgers with real meat tofu is nasty

I grew up on hamburgers, and only became a vegatarian 3 years ago. Trust me, Boca is better.

PS:{This is an off topic forumn, yet we still debate...}

she has a valid point. Soymilk is sooo much better tasting than regular milk

New Discussion: Do any of you have a GGov't Surplus outlet near you? I;m trying to find a place that sells desert/hot climate Duty boots that won;t make me have to sell ym organs to afford them.

I doubt that they would have them here, but maybe out by the airforce base... Wait.

No, they don't have one anywhere near me. They do have a Commissary and some supermarket thing for the people on base, but I don't think that is what you are talking about, is it?

Commisaries only sell food. It's a mall-sized food mart. I've been on an army base in kentucky before, and went with my uncle to the commisary. I fit in rather well. When every male adult there is in uniform, aside from jackets a large portion of them, it makes you feel at ease. Only a few carried their sidearms, it was hot as hell that day.

There used to be THREE on the street downtown. They all moved because thee weren't getting any business. It's a small town, so they probably shouldn't have expected much.

ARGHH! All the summer boots are >$160! They have a single cheap pair, but they fall apart in a day or so. Can;t expect much from $10. Eh. My favorite online retailer is gonna be cleaning out the warehouse soon, so he might get a few pairs that he needs to get rid of.

Did you know? Converse makes military-issue boots! THey are upwards of $300. Thay are also the best ever made, except for the price.

Actually, I didn't. I don't really know much about the military - no interest. The only reason i know aboout the Commissary is because my paternal grandmother shops there (my grandpa had been in the air force throughout his life).

But no one was in uniform that I recall, from the occational times I have accompanied her

My uncle was bitching about how they made the Communicatoins building different from all the rest, so a terrorist can go in and take out all the communicatoin before destroying everytihng.

There was a fair number of uniformed people. Not exactly everyone, but a fiar number of the males. I had a pair of BDU pants. I still have thme. I;ve had them for about 3 years now. And they were already possibly older than me. Still aren't faded! I have 7 uniforms and 2 jackets. I get a lto fo gifts from workers at Goodwill, because my mom works there and has befriended a lot of them.

OF the 7, 5 are Woodland (green) camoflauge. One is six-color Desert camoflauge, which my uncle wore while he was in Desert Storm. There was still a bit of sand in thme, but sand gets EVERYWHERE when you are in the desert. The other is a 3-color Desert jumpsuit. And a single pair of Sub-Zero Micky Boots. Very rare, very rugged, and very warm.

I would imagine so... I suppose, as long as you stretch out everything, and don't aggravate it too much, you'll be fine.

I had a problem like that after crashing my bike, once. Her advice is good. Don;t sit idly, your back will heal faster if you do some moving and exercising.

As long as it isn't seriously hurting. My friend also got hit by a car. She had a snapped tendon (sp) in her leg. Her mother made her do laps in the living room, so many, in fact, that something went wrong with her leg's healing and she can never play sports again.
