D: I never did Brit Lit as a section by itself, but we did a bunch of studies over high school... lol. Do you like it? I'm sooo glad my finals were over in April... Though, unfortunately it is probably not as hot here as it is there. Wherever there is. Not that it matters since the WHOLE WORLD IS WARMER THAN HERE. *cry* [By the way, am I the only one who thinks Ran Fan would not be so fine at writing poetry? Poetry sample: ...]

True. Then again, when picking the worst poet, you must question: Which is better, really bad poetry or no poetry at all? ninja

I think Al would be the best poet. I don't know why, but I do. I should try and write a poem Al would write.

I have to say that Roy's little "song" was HILARIOUS, but really not all that poetic. xD I suppose no poetry at all is better. Okay, you win. Nice poem, by the way. I think it capitalizes on the essence of Roy's personality, especially in your use of the metaphor "alchemize you toast," because it is fairly obvious from the outset of the poem that you are not describing toast at all. All in all, good use of a wide range of descriptors (like "very hot"). xDDDD Your statement at the end makes me wonder what else he's got. Or is it that I already know? YAY THERMODYNAMICS! Seriously, that is probably the greatest thing ever. It's too bad they don't say "Sung to the tune of ____". Or maybe it's a good thing. Wouldn't want too many fangirls shouting that one...

Yea, I've been thinking up regular tunes (Jungle Bells, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc., etc.) but none seem to quite fit.
Then it occured to me that if it's based on any kind of a real song, it'd probably be something in Japanese. BESIDES, it was originally in Japanese! So the tune would be completely off anyway!
Noooo. *vows to learn to sing it in Japanese*

If you randomly sang it in Japanese, the effect would be somewhat lost. xD Hmmm, maybe, but I think the utter lack of flow somewhat reminds me of Roy anyway. xD (OMG, you have to.
