Band barely make ends meat, and when different bands wear said band's T-shirts / pins / etc. they're getting the word of said band out. Or making people say "Hm, my favorite artist likes that band, maybe I should listen to some of their s**t!" Really, bands like Brand New and hellogoodbye: tour bus=home. yes yes but I dont think Green Day really likes Simple Plan very well..you can sorta tell. and Green Day had their inspirations and all but they aren't too much into the other bands these days...simply cause they are the greatest punk rock band in the world. cool It doesn't really matter if Green day likes SP or not. I dispise SP, but I think it's cool how they're getting the word of green day out. I think Green Day are as "out there" as you can get for a punk band neutral but it's just the fact that a poseur band like them make Green Day look bad when they have GD stuff on their guitars talk2hand . (sorry never_forget_chicken_man but its my opinion xp )

never_forget_chicken_man i am proably the olny one here who doesnt hate simple plan Not the only one. I am not too fond of their new CD, but it's not horrible. I'll listen to it. But I LOVE their older CD...I just hate their new style. They lost their creativity...what I loved about them. Now they're "just another band" to me...and I HATE the lyrics to "Welcome To My Life" with BURNING PASSION...And no, I don't feel like explaining why right now. xp

He wears what Billie wears. Ya know, stretch black pants, red and black socks, chunky shoes and thank goodness that they weren't creepers.

Sorry in advance if it doesn't seem to make sense... xp The song is pretty much one of those songs you can relate to...right? That's why everyone likes it. Mind the lyrics - "No one understands me" ... gonk So if you relate to it, obviously you understand him, right? It's just this huge stupid oxymoron paradox that doesn't work. Sure you may feel that at times, but...it's not true, and everyone damn well knows it. Example why I hate that so much - One time I was with 2 of my friends (both cut...one more seriously, the other...uh...not really.) and one just had a bout of depression and used a hunting knife on himself. He was pretty much explaining it as "It was either that or tie myself to the train tracks." And that pissed me off because that's just showing stupidity. You can deal with it. It may not be pleasant, but in this case "Time heals all wounds" can be put into play. It might not be easy, but you WILL get though it. You don't need to cut to show it. Especially not with a hunting knife making a huge gash. So I was trying to tell him that...I use music as an alternative. And we were kind of arguing, and the other one says "Shut up! You don't understand...you don't know what it's like!" And that REALLY pissed me off...I mean...one of the top 5 being pissed off in my entire LIFE. 1 - it's not a laughing matter...it's pretty damn serious here... 2 - Did they honestly think they were the only depressed cutter people in the world? Only cutters are alowed to be depressed? What? Did they honestly think I hadn't ever felt like he had? I've had visions in my head that I have a desperate want to fulfill...but common sense takes over me...The main vision...taking a huge butcher knife or something and slicing my head into as many pieces as possible, to let all the tension just flow out. It's stupid. I may not be happy the next day, but even then I would notice a significant drop in that mood. So just distract yourself with something like music...sing loudly and passionately...let out your frustrations...punch things (pillows or something, not people or animals)...SOMETHING that doesn't harm yourself. gonk So basically - "No one understands me!" "Oh hey, I can relate!! This is my new anthem...YAAAAYYY!!!!1!!!1" gonk ...I just gave WAY too much personal information there... xd
