I was confused when I first read that... my mind just went "Why are they making such a big deal about her flashing her fist?"

Then I saw the scanlation and went "OH. Duh."

no wonder she was so scared..... that is WAY worse than "flashing your fist" and no one would ever think of doing that to REN TSURUGA! i would be super scared of him from then on too.

There's a scene where Ren wonders who taught her that expression.
Then there's a picture of Shou with his middle finger up. Funny how they didn't edit that out, either.

Haha editing stuff always makes me equally laugh and cringe. Silly censorship. ^^ And yah, if I had done that to Ren Tsuruga, I'd be running for my life.
