Paul rolled his eyes as he wrapped his arm around Claire. "Look man, those horror movies have got to you. Give it a rest, she's probably sleeping." Alex shook his head. "No, something's wrong. Now let's go." He led them to the back of the house. "There's a spare key to the back door here, I think."

I think Rebecca's name sort of changed to Rachel in the begining.
Just to be clear, the sister's names are Rebecca and Ginger.
There is no rachel. sweatdrop

Alex reached down and pulled the spare key from under the mat.
The second he put his key in the door and walked in, there was a huge roar of thunder. Claire screamed, and ran over beside Paul. Alex reached for the light switch, but when he pressed it, the chandelier didn't turn on at all. He flipped the switch a little, and still nothing.
Then, Alex heard giggling, and when the three of them stopped talking to hear what it was, it stopped.
Upstairs in the secret passage way (which Rebecca had bought using her allowance, so she could use it for pranks and jokes on her family) that led from Rebecca's room to the living room, was Rebecca. She was skinny, so there was a lot of room for her to fit in it. She looked down on the living room, the chandelier blocking her view, and recognized Alex. But she didn't recognize the other two. And what were they doing here at 9:45PM, while Renee was babysitting, anyway?

Alex saw a figure that looked a lot like Rebecca, so he asked with bravery, "Is that you Rebecca?" Rebecca replied, "Yes, it's me, Alex is that you?" Alex replied with relief, "Yes, it's me Rebecca." Alex was about to explain to Rebecca about his voicemail from Renee, but then, there were 2 mysterious figures entering the front door. Once again, Claire screamed again and hid behind Paul, while Rebecca ran to hug Alex. This time, Alex was frightened while clutching the spare key in his hands and hugging Rebecca. Then suddenly one of the figures spoke, "Kids, we're home!" Rebecca noticed that voice, it was her dad. Her dad asked, "What happened to the lights?" Alex replied, "The power must have been knocked out." "I'll go fix the power switch right now!" replied her dad.

The dad walked away.
Then Alex said "But why are you home so early? I was talking to renee, and she said you guys wouldn't get home until around 1 or 2 in the morning!"
"Oh, well we were out and there was so much rain, that every time someone opened the front door of the Club, water would come flowing into the place, and the manager would have to get towels. Eventually, there was so much, that they closed the place and told everyone to go straight home, because the weather was too harsh." The mom explained.
"So why are all of you here?" she asked.
"Well, I was listening to voicemail in the car with them", Alex said pointing at his friends, "and she sounded panicky, and then I heard something that sounded really scary, and I heard her scream, so I rushed over here." Alex said.
"Well If you want, we can go check on Renee and Ginger, and dismiss Renee from work. Oh and Rebecca, you shouldn't be up this late." Her mom said.

Audrey sat in a car a small ways away from the house. She brought a lighted cig to her mouth inhaling the fumes and blowing them out slowly while watching the flailing teenagers run into the house in fear. She smiled to herself. She flicked the cig away, opening the car door and stepping out. She made her way to the house, hoping to slip in unnoticed through the back door.

Oz, Audrys friend, and pet cat, gets out of the car too. She then finds that...IT'S RAINING OUT!!! Oz quickly dashes past all the ppl at the front door and into the house, to safety! "meowwwwwww!" she calls to Audry who is, for some resone not behind her.

Before Audrey could make her way around the house, she heard a yowling from behind her. She peered over her shoulder through the darkness. "Oz?" she mumbled. A crack of thunder shook the sky when she saw Oz fly past her in a rush to get inside. Exclaiming, "Oz! You stupid cat you were supposed to stay in the car!" she ran after her cat until she found herself inside the house.

alex, being in front of the group asked "what the!? were did you come from!?" he was obviously not into this situation.
oz could feel this vibe coming from him so in an act of no thoght, just to help audrey, slunk over to him and started to cuddle his legs. she also got dry! to top that off she also pered alittle.

Audrey walked up to the house and then without noticing Alex, picked up Oz. "Damn cat..." she mumbled under her breath. "If only you'd listen to direc..." she stood up straight finally noticing Alex. "...tions."

oz makes a motion with her paw for audrey to slink off into the shadows and wait for her moment. "meow heart prrrrrrprrrrrr 4laugh " she rubbs her head and alexs chin.
"wow, friendly cat." alex has obviously fallen for the bate. everyone croudes around oz and audrey is now just a spot in the distance of their minds.
