"Yeah, I'll take care of everything," Hayden agreed, playing along in hopes of getting her to lie down. He had no idea what was wrong with the poor girl, but maybe someone in the medical wing would. She was their 'subject,' right? They had to take care of her.
Thinking ahead, Hayden slid her shoes under her bed in case she tried to get up after he left. It wouldn't do for her to trip over them and fall again. He smiled reassuringly at the poor girl, nodding as he gently patted her hand. "Don't worry about a thing. I will." With that he turned and left the room quietly, immediately jogging off down the hallway to get some help.

Anya just lay there asleep it was not until right after Hayden had left the room that Anya was woken from her sleep by the call of nature. Looking around the room she saw the bathroom it was not that far though it was far enough. Slowly getting out of bed Anya staggered sleepily over to the bathroom.
This could have been another oopse but Thanks to the cowardly lion thinking ahead she did not trip over her shoes. and thankfully after Anya was finished she made her way back to her bed only to crawl into it backwards so that her feet were on the pillow and her head under the covers. Anya did not remember any of it.

Belatedly, Hayden remembered the walkie talkie unit hanging on his waist. "Duh," he muttered, halting and smacking his forehead. He felt stupid now.
"Hayden Rutherford, requesting immediate medical assistance. Subject's name is Anastasia and she's housing in Room #024. She was found in the hallway with a suspected head injury. I've managed to get her back to her room, though she's showing signs of confusion and delirium. Could you get someone down to her room to check on her? And quickly!"
Silence for a moment, then...
"Rutherford? You again? You certainly like to keep us busy, don't you?"
"Oh, shut up and get down here," Hayden sneered, shutting off the radio without waiting for a response. Anya was one of their precious subjects...they wouldn't hesitate to rush to her aid, even if they didn't like the guard making the report.
He'd leave her in their hands for now. He needed to get back to his room and get cleaned up...badly. He'd go back and check on her again afterwards...

Anya had been asleep how long this time with was unknown though she was not awakened by the turning on of the light in her room. The blankets covering her head made it still seem dark no it was the sound of voices and foot steeps that woke her up with a start. Looking around Anya could smell the laundry detergent that had been used on her her sheets. Her brown eyes looked around the blankets made every thing seem dark.
"Mr. lion are you back I can not see you." she sat up and soon realized that there two people were not Mr lion. "Hello are you from the wizard?" she could see two figures and she could not make out what they were wearing if she had she would of freaked out by now.

"No, Miss Anastasia. We're not from the Wizard."
The voice was stern and practically dripping with sarcasm, as if he believed this was nothing more than an act, though he couldn't determine the girl's reasoning behind it. It wasn't like they'd let her out of here for being crazy.
A softer, feminine voice followed the first. "If you'll sit up, dear, we'd like to check and make sure that you're okay. You'll be free to go back to sleep after that, I promise."

Meanwhile, a relieved security guard had managed to escape from his probably-ruined uniform and into the refuge of a hot shower. Taking the momentary relief and bleeding it for all it was worth, he stood under the running water with head hanging low and wet hair falling in his eyes until the hot water ran out....

Anya looked down. "ooh I guess I will have to wait for Mr lion to go to the Wizard." though some thing about thats persons voice scared her. "But you must know Mr. lion for how else would you know the name I let him call me." this was no act is how she was thinking at the moment.
the womans voice sounded much friendlier that that of the males. "Well I guess it is ok since Mr. Lion sent you and it does look like you guys have evil twins trying to trick me. " She rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she sat up. "You mean like this." she tilted her head to the side trying to see the two better. "I think i am ok though I fell down in the cafe and some other places i do not remember but then Mr. lion found me and brought me here he says this is my room."

The male doctor rolled his eyes, as if he couldn't believe this entire situation. His female assistant seemed more sympathetic, however, smiling gently at the girl as she helped her sit up. "Yes, dear. This is your room. All yours and no one else's." She sat on the edge of the bed, helping support Anya so she wouldn't fall if she got dizzy.
"You say you fell in the cafeteria? And in other places? The hallway, I'm assuming," the doctor drawled slowly, studying her like a particularly interesting lab rat. "We'll have to check her head; see if she's seriously injured herself."
"Yes, doctor," the young woman replied automatically, turning back to Anya. "We're just going to make sure you're alright, honey. Now...what was that you said about evil twins?"

Anya smiled she was asked about the twins. "Well When I first met mr lion after he found me in the hall I guess. he says that the second Mr. Lion is not real but. he looked real. So I think it is a real twin an evil one at that." So this was her room so that ment.
"Did I squish a witch befor I woke up. I do not want to kill any one." She looked at the nurse. "Whait how are you a doctor you do not look like a doctor What about my head It hurts it always hurts."

The nurse raised an eyebrow at the twin explanation. "I...see." She shot the doctor a look and he nodded. 'Double vision.' Not a good sign. "No, dear. There are no witches around here...you must have dreamed it," the nurse continued in a soothing voice.
Meanwhile, the doctor had pulled out a flashlight and leaned in towards Anya. "Look at the light, please." He watched her pupils carefully, noting that they seemed to be dialating normally. Well, that ruled out a concussion.
"You poor thing," the nurse continued, wrapping her arm around the young woman's shoulders. "I'm sorry that it hurts. We'll get you something to make the pain go away as soon as we can, darling."

Anya looked at the light wondering why the doc was looking in to her eye was there some thing in her eyes. She blinked a lot. "No I do not see right now ooh pretty lights." she tried to catch one in her hand.
"That will be be nice I mean it was hard to sleep with my head hurting. And then I may be able to think clearly to know what I want to ask the Wizard." she smiled though she started to feel a little woozy She put her hand to her head. She carefully laid her head on the nurses shoulder hoping that this would help with the woozy felling. The nurses arms just touched the bruises on Anyas Arm but enough to make her cringe in pain.

The nurse shot a concerned look at the doctor, but he shook his head. "No, she's fine. We'll give her some rest and keep her under observation for now. This could be nothing more than an odd side-effect in addition to her head injury, but I'll make a note of it." He pocketed his flashlight and headed towards the door. "Finish up and get her some pain meds." Then, he was gone.
The nurse smiled reassuringly at Anya. "If you'd like to lay down again, dear, go ahead. I'll go get those painkillers for you."

Anya watched the man leave the room. then hearing the nurse she nodded her head. "Thank you. I am sorry I caused you trouble." She lay her head back on the pillow. "You know miss you are nice like a good faerie.." she said to the nurse as she left a tired smile was easy to see on her face.
Anya did not know how long it was she just laid on her bed looking up when she herd foot steps again. It was the nurse she smiled as she held a tray that had a glass of water and pills on it. Anya took the glass in one hand careful not to spill any of it and then took the pills swallowing them carefully. "Bye miss Good Faerie." anya said as she curled up in to her sheets to take a long over due nap.

The nurse smiled sadly, patting the girl's shoulder gently before she left. "Goodbye, dear. Sleep well."

Sometime later, Hayden peeked into the room, dressed in a fresh uniform and hair still damp from the shower. "Anya?" He spotted her curled up form on the cot and smiled. Relieved that she was finally getting some rest, he chuckled and started to close the door quietly. "Hang in there, kid..."

Anya slept though haydens visit though she would have loved to see hayden again. but she need to rest one thing that she had been told over and over again.
