The people, distracted by what fell out of the girl's pockets, were too busy to give chase. The beggar who had stabbed Rei stood proudly.

Rei ran right into the dessert.She soon feel over gasping for breath.She sat up and brushed off as much said as she could and wraped it with her neckerchief.When she pulled her sleaves down you couldent tell she was wounded.She then stood up and walked intill she saw a horse rasing around maddly. "there there whiah calm down.." she said taking half an oatmeal bar from her pocket that she had leftover from her lunch "lookie here a treat.."

The horse, black as the night sky, hesitated when a stranger offered him something. He snorted, the whites of his eyes showing, but crept forward, sniffing the treat. He then ate it from Rei's hand and nudged her palm with his velvety nose, searching for more.

Rei smiled and searched her pockets.She found a pop tart and broke it up feeding it to the horse.She petted the horse's nose smiling "your such a beatutiful thing..." she said.The sweat waspouring off her face and she looked weak.

The horse leaned forward and nuzzled the crook of Rei's neck with his nose, and then snorted a little. He lifted his head, tossing his mane, and pawed at the ground.
"Where is it, dammit?!" Bakura demanded. He and his men had set up shelter against the hot midday sun, when it was too hot to travel, and he had just found out that his horse had run away-- or worse, was stolen. And nobody stole from the king of thieves. The man in front of him, the unfortuante one to bring this news to Bakura, winced and backed off a little at the rage of the king. "I will slit EACH and EVERY one of your THROATS if I do not get my HORSE back!!" He wasn't bluffing either; he could kill these men off easily and work solo for a little bit, as he prefered, or just find a new batch.
"S-sir, can't you just use someone else's? We will be nering the village El Bahr soon, we can get more horses there." The terrified man asked n a small voice. He was rewarded with Bakura slamming his fists down on the ground.
"That horse is my horse, you fool!" Bakura snapped; it was explanation enough. His eyes, sometimes blue and other times pale violet, narrowed and glittered dangerously. "Get out of my sight if you want to keep your life." The man scrambled out of the tent.

Rei smiled weakly.She felt lighthead all of a suden.Her pale body wasent used to this exstreme heat "Such a sweet thing.." she muttered softly before falling foward colapsing face first into the hot sand.

Bakura looked up at the blood red sky. Desert nights were extremely cold, and he wished he had left a little bit earlier so that there was still some sun and warmth. Of course, his red coat was rather thick and good to block off the sun in the daytime and the cold at night. He got on one of his men's horses and glared at them as they packed up the makeshift tents. "Stay here. I'll be back soon." He growled, wondering how far his horse could have gotten and if it wasn't dead by now. Damned horse.
The horse had stayed with Rei and knelt down, by her side. He lowered his head near Rei's and would shift every now and then into another position. When darkness fell, the horse's ears perked up and he heard a familiar voice shouting something. Bakura came up to find his horse on the ground, and thought that it was too late. He shouted again, and saw the horse's head lift. "Oh, so you're alive." He grumbled, coming up to it. He jumped down from the horse he had 'borrowed' and approached it. He was rather startled when he saw a person's form next to his horse. "What the hell?!" He yelled, jumping backwards. This was like no other person he had seen. It was hard to tell, since it was face-down, but it seemed to be female from the hair length, even if the hair was white. Nearly the same color as his. That was odd. And the clothes she wore... Not to mention her pale skin. He nudged her side with his toe as his horse got to his feet.

Rei dident move as she was nudged.She was still breathing but her bodysuffered from exstreme heat exsastion and dehidration.Being a frail young girl dident help any.She was covered slightly in sand from the wind blowing it over her.

Bakura knelt down and flipped the girl onto her back. "Wake up." He growled, brushing sand off of her face. If this was the person who stole his horse, she would pay. Bakura didn't care who he killed; it could be men, women, or children. Didn't matter. His horse snorted and pawed at the ground. "Silence." He ordered. Bakura ordered a lot. Turning his attention back towards the girl, he decided that he shouldn't be wasting to much time during time where he and his men could be going somewhere instead of the blistering sun.

When he fliped her over she took in a deep breath.Lips lips were cracked and her face was red.Her soaked body now trembled from the cold.

"Damned girl doesn't even have the sense not to wander in the desert." Bakura muttered to himself, examining her clothes. He rubbed her skirt in between his fingers, never before feeling fabric like that. This was odd, very odd indeed. With such pale skin and odd clothes, maybe she was some rich fool's entertainer. People sometimes liked things that were different.

Rei muttered softly in her sleep her head tilting to the side.Because she dident have her necktie on her shirt had parted slightly her brests showing.Sand was in her pale white-ish hair.
