A small presentation:  I am Troy, 20 years old in november, known as evildisco or discovolante around many art related communities.
I am a art student, currently getting over with its academics and wanting to enroll in the California Instute of Arts AKA Cal Arts, in the Character Animation program.
I've been drawing for all my life, but very recently I have taken it seriously as a career.
As most artist, I am NEVER satisfied with my work, nor will probably ever be, but not because of lack of confidence or anything.
My tools are mainly Photoshop 7.0, my beautiful mechanical pencil and Painter 8.
I hate most natural media since I don't like to get dirty.
Charcoal is the only exception.
Yes I am an elitist, and yes I do believe that not everyone can produce artwork.

hi, my name is elle. i'm thirteen years old & i'm here for photography. i can't draw worth s**t. whee me..  i am a student in jr high.. i get average grades. i'm taking russian at school&german at home. i LOVE music. SOME bands i am enjoying right now are the doors, the good life, bright eyes, sorry about dresden, oldold coheed, ATDI/the mars volta, and horse the band. i am aspiring to play bass/acoustic and be in a ska, emo, &/or indie band.. whatever opportunity comes first razz i have been into photography for about a year. i like to take stills, portraits, macros, and scenery pictures the most. i use both digital and film. my gallery is here. i am currently working really hard to improve my skills, so critiques would be lovely. that's about it. heart heart baiiii.

My name is Steve, though I usually go by majic13 or MajicXIII online. I am male, I live in England and I am 25 years old. Currently I'm working in a boring office job which none of you are interested in. I studied Economics at university, but realised midway through that it wasn't what I wanted to do, so I instead spent my time infesting the computer labs while my studies crashed and burned. I have little to no formal artistic training, though I'd like to remedy that. I mostly work in digital media, because Ctrl-Z owns my soul. I love me my Wacom tablet, oh yes indeed. I've played around a bit with watercolour and gouache recently, though, so maybe I'll get more into real media in the future. I'm a geek of many flavours, as I'm into roleplaying games (both tabletop and LARP), science-fiction/fantasy and Lovecraftian horror, videogames, and so on. A lot of that shows up in my art. I've had artwork for Pretender published in The Nopress RPG Anthology, and am hoping to eventually get work in artistic side of the videogames industry. I have galleries on devArt, Elfwood and yerf. Oh, and on my own website, but that's not been updated in a while.  ARR.

Hi, kids! I'm Dr. Valentine! I'll be 22 in a week. My real name is Luis Boisvert; Dr. Valentine is the character I designed for a series of games I'm putting together. I'm a programmer, web designer and 3D artist. I've just begun to draw seriously, so my 2D is far from professional at the moment. My 3D art has been featured in an art gallery and sold in comic book form, and in a couple of weeks I'm going to publish a second comic! Um... There I am in an ad for the art gallery I mentioned... I'm a bit camerashy so that is the only picture I have.

i'm cami, fifteen, live in a godforsaken desert (SoCal) and go to the LA County Highschool of the Arts for visual arts. this is an intensely outdated picture of me (=last month). i've gone through two hair-colors and a haircut since then and at the moment it's shorter and blue-er. art (slightly more important) is all over the place at http://mirthconfusion.deviantart.com as well as random crap and unimportant things. school sucks, i write a lot, i love oldschool MUDS and my life is so dull that fluorescent orange nailpolish is the coolest thing that's happened to me in weeks. EDIT things which is different: sixteen. black hair. nothing else. orange nailpolish is still exciting.

Whee! Imma introduce myself. X3 I'm Jennifer (*gasp* yes I'm a girl). I used to leave notes in my sig about being a girl with a male avatar.. but people still didn't get it, so I just gave up. Here's a pic of me:  Yeah.. it's pretty horrible, but it was the closest thing to a creative photo I had. My face looks all blurry for some reason (like those people from The Ring o.o) and my ponytail is concealing the fact I have obnoxiously long and wild hair. I'm currently 21 (will be 22 by the end of the month) and I'm an Art Major in a piddly little school in the middle of nowhere. Once I finish things up here I'm hoping to start classes at the Pasadena Art Center in California, seeing as how my last interview there went purty well. I'm a lazy useless slacker living with my mom.. and tend to spend most of my time lurking in my room playing with my tablet. The most interesting thing I can think to mention is that I spent 5 weeks last summer studying art in Florence Italy (yeah, the Pisa picture above is from that trip). Pretty cool.. though figuring out how to buy groceries there can be kind of rough... I found a chinese market and ate a lot of ramen. I also fell in love with Cellini's "Perseus Beheading Medusa" sculpture and have since named him Percy. Aaaaaaand... I like to Role Play as evil, emotionally challenged bad guys. My avatar is based on one of my characters. Whee!~

Hellew. I'm Rei, i'm 16, born and bred in England, and my mother has a phobia of telephones. I've just started 6th form College, taking Art, Biology, Chemistry and Economics (crazy i am.) I draw a lot, mainly animals (thus i whore myself out in the Breedables forum), but i'm starting to dabble with humans. I do not draw, watch or like Anime. (: (Elvis knows why i'm on Gaia.) I'm a perfectionist and can be overly-critical of my own work. Bad art makes my eyes bleed. :{ I have an utterly British sense of humor. My dog owns you. I play the electric guitar, and have odd tastes in music. I find George Bush bloody hilarious. I am convinced the Swedish nation sold it's soul long ago in exchange for the outrageous amount of creative talent the buggars all possess. I adore Kroenen and that manslut, Edmund. ..And I love finding money in my pocket. (: I don't have a recent picture at hand, so this will do for now. I was the spawn of Satan, yes. (:

might as well strive for something WAAAAY on the far side of the spectrum...so in case i fail miserably, i'll fall somewhere inbetween (>:3). in this case, i love the geisha culture...practicing arts until you croak and die. ...and this is me on regular days (or my 'off' days if you will)... anyways, apart from that i'm a newly hatched 21 year old that doesn't practice her newfound freedom (hell, i was only waiting 21 years!). i live in so. cal studying for my bachelors in animation. although i don't really give a s**t about my school because most of the art i see there is worthless. not much motivation unless i lurk around various discussion boards and find the ones who truly have the heart and soul to come up with something worthwhile. i lean most heavily on drawing/illustrations...but sometimes you'll see me try out something else. so maybe some rudimentary 3d stuff, along with animation... i like clay work, knitting, crochet, tatting, odori (if you want to know why i have the ridiculous get-up in the first picture). origami, latch hook, cg, and slowly working up to designing websites (alright!). i hope i can contribute to this community, even if it's just a measely little 'hello.'

*points way up the page* Hi, Luis! It's been... oh, forever since I've seen you. I need to get down to the hunter more often. And now for an extra crappy webcam picture of me. I draw things... mostly in photoshop these days, because natural media tend to cost money. I watercolour things every once in a while, though. It's fun. What else.... My name is Zoe Novaczek, I have a very old elfwood gallery somewhere that I haven't updated in... years. I think you can still find it if you google my name, but you don't really want to. It's all very awful. I'm eighteen, a physics major, and a compulsive RP-er. I have a deviant art account somewhere, but I've never done anything with it. Too much effort. I'm all lazy that way.
