['tis fine. my post was going to be shorter than it was before I saw your post. ^^;]
Yasuo watched as the white wolf wadded into the middle of the circle, in the shallow waters of the pure small pond. He pricked his ears up high and hesitated for a second after seeing Ola beginning to start the ceremony. He quickly recovered, however, as he praised the Goddess' name with each completion of the circle. After three circles, he stood in place, remaining silent until the end of the ceremony.
Yasuo flicked an ear slightly as he heard Lewana speak, his attention focused on her. Silently, he memorized the entire ritual, for he knew that they would do this again next month. bobbing his head as he heard the last words fade from the white wolf's maw, he closed his eyes and muttered a "So Mote It Be." He knew then that the ceremony was over, but he lingered slightly, remaining silent until he could hear the sound of paws moving away from the area.

Kalani joined in with the ceremony untill at last it was coming to an end. Slowly he loweredd his head a little and closed his eyes before letting the words escape his maw,
"So Mote It Be."
He then raised his head again and watched to make sure nothing else was going to happen before leaving. He wasn't in a very sociable mood.

Azmaria listened intently to what Lewana was saying. This part was all new to her seeing how she had been told the exact phrasing of the ritual. Only her part had been told to her so that she could memorize what the phrasing was. To watch Lewana stand there with her complete and utter attention upon the Goddess was a very spiritually lifting thing. It showed how dedicated the whole pack was to their religion and amazed Azmaria even more.
The femme was pulled from her thoughts with a blink as Ola bowed her head to the grass and spoke. Azmaria followed suit, "So Mote It Be." She waited a few moments before raising her head to find one wolf already slinking away into the night. Instead of returning to the den, Azmaria waited for Lewana to see what the younger wolfess was planning to do now.

So Mote it Be Orphen responded. She found herself filled with a feeling of rebirth and purity, Orphen raised her head and sought out Yasuo's gaze. She moved over to him, smiled and bobbed her head flirtaciously.
The ceremony is done. She whispered. Cerridwen has been appeased. Come flounce with me? She giggled and brushed against him flirtaciously. It was possibly not the most respectful thing to be doing but she was filled with a sudden energy and she wanted to run and play in the long grass of the meadow. She wanted to chase deer just for the fun of seeing them flee and she wanted to wrestle her mate to the ground.
She flicked her tail up under his nose as she passed and bounded off through the darkness, her brilliant white form glittering under the starlight.
It was a dark night but a pleasant one.
Lewana turned to the others and looked at them through fuzzy eyes. She could see the joy in the hearts of those around her and felt the love grow in her more. The pack was forming and love and friendships were knitting it together.
She could feel Cerridwen's happiness as if it were her own.
Then slowly the warmth left her with the chill of the night and she slipped down from amen, waded through the water and pulled herself out on the other side.
She caught Azmaria's gaze and her eyes glittered with warmth. Thank you Azmaria. It was much nicer having you there by my side. She wanted to nuzzle the other but knew she could not. Only a soft tail-wag portrayed her happiness.
I'm going to return to the den now and rest. I always feel tired after the ceremony. I will see you tomorrow for your lesson? She snuffled the air with her nose and paused briefly before padding away towards the holy dens, her pace sluggish and tired.
Ola watched her nephew leave and the others begin to move away. Her silver-grey eyes shone with moisture of happiness. It had been a long time since a ceremony had felt like that.
Cerridwen would surely be content.
And with a gruff bark of goodbye she too stalked off towards the trees, seeking her den so she could sleep in peace.

Yasuo smiled widely as he felt his mate brush up against him, her words ringing in his ears. Nodding his head, he ran after her, his tail and head held up high. He didn't know where she was taking him, but at that moment he didn't care. All he wanted was some alone time with her where he didn't have to care about what time of the day it was.

Azmaria nodded as Lewana spoke of her weariness. "Alright Lewana. See you once the sun has risen." She watched the white wolfess move back towards the den. With an excitment and joy inside of her, Az could not make herself return to the den. Instead she decided to bound into the shadows of the forest to see what she could uncover in the darkness of the new moon.
