Coral smiled. "Water you up to?" She nodded and clapped. It wasn't the best joke, but it should be good for a toddler.

Debi took a moment to get it, but she laughed and clapped her hands when she did, kicking her legs in glee, narrowly missing Aoaka's stomach as she did so.
"Yay! Again! More, more!" she cheered.
"That was very good, Coral!" Aoaka agreed, then looked toward shore.
"Why don't we go sit in the sun, Debi?" he asked, and changed to legs so he could suit actions to words.
As soon as they were all on the beach, Debi squirmed free, and ran back to Coral, still walking in her ungainly toddler fashion.

Coral too swam to shore and got out. She looked at the beach and the sand with a smile Land was nice too. "More?" She asked as that's what Debi has said before they went to land.

Aoaka sat to one side, watching the two girls. He decided he'd leave them alone for a while, and just play guardian for now.
Debi, meanwhile, had grabbed Coral's arm and gave a small tug. "More, yes! Tell joke! Pease?" she asked, after glancing in Aoaka's direction. Manners were one thing he was a stickler on.

Coral smiled. She always liked hearing the crowd holler for more. "Okay let me see." She thought for a moment. Coral would reallly need to come up with a routine one day. Save all the thinking of jokes spur of the moment.
"What do you get when you have seaweed, shirmp and a 1000 island?"

Debi plopped down on her bottom and thought for a moment before shrugging and saying, "Dunno. What? What?" She really had no idea. She liked seaweed, but she didn't know what you could make with the other two things and it.

"A seafood salad! Get it?" Coral laughed and laughed. That really was a good one. Or at leas to her.
"Want to make a castle?" She asked Debi with a smile as she moved some sand with her hands.

Debi, impressed, laughed along, though she didn't really get it. But she was now rather enamored of Coral, and if she thought it was funny, so did Debi.
"Funny, Coral!" she said, and clapped her hands.
What next? A castle? Debi had done that many times, and she didn't really want to do that right now, so she stuck out her tongue and made a pbbt noise by blowing air.
"No! No make. We find shiny!" she said, instead, remembering the shiny red thing she'd seen while swimming. Debi was sure Coral would want to help her find it. "Find shiny?" she asked again, tilting her head to one side.
Aoaka watched, and wondered silently what she meant by shiny. He'd never seen the object she wanted, after all. He would follow them, though, so they didn't get into danger or trouble.

Coral frowned a little as she'd never been able to make a sand castle before. She was too little and couldn't leave the water before.
"Shinny? What kind of shinny? Are you like a pack rat?" Coral chuckled a little at the statement.

Debi didn't know what a pack rat was, but if it would make Coral help her find the thing, then she would agree.
"We look. Shiny red thing. In water!" she said, and took Coral's hand, pulling on it to try and make the older girl go in the right direction.

Coral walked to the water as Debi insisted. "In the water? Well, I guess I'll take a looky-loo. You can't yet swim, can ya?" She asked the toddler with a smile.
Coral got into the water and found her fin again. She then swam a little bit. "Red?" she called out.

"Can too!" Debi protested, and tried to follow Coral into the water.
Aoaka, however, had other ideas. She could float well, and dog paddle for a little bit, but he in no way trusted her to be in the water without him supervising. So he scooped her up against her protests, and smiled at Coral.
"Yes, she can... but she's not very strong yet. We'll walk, okay, Debi?" he asked.
"Bad papa! I want swim!" she pouted up at him, turning on the full force of her charm, but he still shook his head.
"Maybe when we find it, alright? If we ask very nicely, perhaps Coral would like to help you practice for a little bit," he said.

Coral nodded. "Alright. Where do I look then?" She wasn't seeing anything red. Just alot of water and rocks. Which, even with some being colored, no red ones. "Point me in the right way!"

"Dat way!" Debi said, like an imperious little queen where she rode on Aoaka's shoulders where he'd lifted her. She pointed back the way she and Aoaka had come from, and Aoaka nodded and started walking in that direction.
"How big was it, Debi? Was it larger than my fist?" he asked, and held his fist up for comparison.
She thought for a moment, and shook her head, "No, not bigger. Round!" she added, and bounced up and down excitedly on his shoulders.

Coral swam up and down looking for the red thing. She really wasn't sure what it was or where. This was rather odd. Still, she did want to make the little one happy.
Coral dove down when she saw something that might be red.
