Shikoba blushed a little, and looked down at his feet again.
"I'm sorry that it hurt your feelings." He looked back up again. "You didn't do anything wrong. I just....didn't expect it, and I've never...experienced that before. It was very different for me. But...I did like it."
He couldn't help but smile a little. He watched her, seeing her reaction, and wondering how she would respond.

'I guess you weren't to know..' Aishwarya watched him closely, keeping her gaze steady but not staring.
'This is as new, and as different for me as it is for you.' she said, reaching out with a foreleg and gently knocked a hoof against one of his front legs.
'I'm glad you liked it...I - what do we do now?' she giggled. Was there some sort of next move to be made? Her ears flicked as well, betraying the nerves she felt.

Shikoba smiled at Aishwarya's gentle gesture. He really did enjoy her company, and small things like that made him feel great. But he was slightly perplexed by her next question.
"I....I really don't know." He smiled and blushed a little. "Maybe try it again, now that we both know what's going on?" he suggested.

Aishwarya nodded, and spoke slightly teasingly;
'You're very clever.' she spoke with warmth though, letting the stallion know that she wasnt making fun of him. She supposed it was logical to keep up the gestures of affection and not let them peter out.
She stepped sideways, backing up a little and stepped right next to him, her flank bumping gently against his side and she nibbled along his neck, tugging very softly on his mane hairs as she went. Her braided tail gently swished behind her and she let out a small nicker of contentment;
'This is okay?' she asked quietly, her ears angling towards him, listening to the sound of his breathing which she could hear now that she had gotten this close to him.

Shikoba sighed, feeling a warmth grow inside of him as she got closer. This was a very nice feeling. He had never been close with somebody like this, and it was actually quite comforting. He turned to look at her.
"Yes, its ok," he said with a smile. He leaned toward her, pressing his nose against hers, and rubbing the soft skin of their noses together. As she nibbled at his mane, a few shivers ran along his spine, and he smiled.

Aishwarya blew hot air on Shikoba's neck, moving her tail braid so that it coiled loosely around on his legs. There were many things she wanted to say to the stallion right now, but she couldnt seem to find her tongue, let alone know what words to use to articulate her feelings, or what she felt she should ask or know.
'I think..' she started, then left the sentence hanging, unsure as to how to finish it. She thought shed liked him..she felt that maybe he and she could be something - special. But it had to be too soon to say - to tell.
Besides, he had backed away when she had first made a 'move' on him, and she didnt want to see him fly away from her when they hadnt gotten this close.

The warm air on his neck sent even more shivers along Shikoba's body. He frowned a little as Aishwarya left her sentence hanging like that, and he wondered what she was about to say.
"You think what, Aishwarya?"
He really wanted her to tell him. He didn't want any of their feelings to be hidden from each other. If she wanted to tell him something, he really hoped that she trusted him enough to be able to tell him.

'I think..' she glanced skywards, and luckily nature gave her an out in having to finish it with what she was really thinking.
'I think it might rain soon..' she said, looking at the gathering clouds. The air had that smell you associated with rain, the atmosphere getting thicker, it felt heavy.
She hoped Shikoba would understand, she was uncertain about how he felt for her, so she wasnt go to show her hand first so to speak. Aishwarya didnt like to feel out of control - if he showed her some sign, then she would reciprocate. Until then - it probably wouldnt help to keep everything in but she couldnt help how she was.

Shikoba looked up at the sky as well. Seeing the clouds, he looked back at Aishwarya.
"Well, we should go find some cover then, don't you think?"
He knew that she wasn't really thinking about the weather, but he could tell that she was uncomfortable with saying it to him, so he just left it at that. With a playful n** at her neck, he nodded in the direction of a large willow tree not too far away.
"Should we go get cover under there? Who knows when it'll start to rain."

'It would be a good idea, yes,' she glanced over in the direction that he was motioning towards.
'I think we should be okay under there, it doesnt seem like there will be lightning.'
Aishwarya glanced at him and then walked off towards the tree, moving under the drooping branches as the first fat drops of rain impacted on the ground. When Shikoba had joined her, she stood quietly for a while, listening to the noise of the rain on the leaves above and around them.
'I like that sound. Rain on a canopy of leaves. It's quite soothing.'

Shikoba followed her to the tree and joined her underneath it. He looked up at the sky as the rain began to fall and watched it as it made its decent to the ground. He turned to look at her as she mentioned the sound of the rain on the leaves above them.
"Yes, it is pretty nice, isn't it."
There really wasn't much else to say. He just looked at her, still taken by her beauty, and so glad that she was standing beside her.

'You've gone quiet,' Aish commented after a time, still watching as the rain fell. She had moved closer to him whilst they stood there, and now her hip was resting against his, the canopy of the tree becoming a dry and warm little haven the longer they stood there.
'What are you thinking?'

Shikoba smiled to himself as he felt Aishwarya leaning on him. He leaned back, so that they were resting on each other's support. He looked down at her, a smile on his face.
"I'm just thinking about how beautiful you are, and how I love being around you."
He was done being embarrassed and trying to act strong and flawless. And this wasn't really a flaw...he loved her. Wait....loved? Really? Was this what it felt like? But how could he be sure?
Best not to say just yet...

Aishwarya's tail moved in a lazy, swishing fashion; she was sure that were she a feline she would be emitting some kind of purring noise by now.
'Well thank you.' she said, her nose getting warm, and it wrinkled as she smiled.
'I like being with you very much as well,' she said carefully. She wanted to say the other 'L' word, but she, like Shikoba, wasnt sure if that was really what her feelings meant.
'Do you ever think about your future? A herd, offspring?' she asked, lightly but curious.

He smiled, and felt a warm feeling spread through his body.
"I never used to, but I have been lately. I met a young foal not too long ago, and at first, I found her quite annoying, but the longer I spent with her, I seemed to grow to enjoy her company. And that made me think of what it would be like if I had children of my own."
He paused for a moment, looking out at the falling rain and thinking for a moment.
"And I think I'd love to have children one day."
He smiled and nudged Aishwarya's muzzle with his own.
