I read the chapters and I have to say that I really don't like what Ronnie has become. She is really mean and selfish lately. And I sincerely hope that Nathaniel is the father. I mean can you imagine him as a daddy? It would be just too cute.

I've been wanting to do many unpleasant things to Ronnie since Incubus. scream In the first place, I heart JC, and she hates him (at least he's honest when it comes to love, while she just wants to rut like bunnies. Maybe she should hook up with Belle... rofl ). As for Nathaniel as a daddy... gods, just think if the kid inherited some of his better genes. heart And then of course, think about how many 'dad's the kid would have. Micah, Nathaniel, and Anita would be the ones basically taking care of it, but then there's JC. I'm sure he'd want SOMETHING to do with it. Probably Asher too. That's five parents at the very least. Of course, I'm sure it would work out better if the pregnancy scare turned out like the lycanthropy scare. Can you imagine Anita changing diapers? sad eek gonk

I am of course the hopeful JC/Anita fan. I hope that somehow that baby (if there is a baby) is Jean-Claude's. I know, I know, impossiblity, but can you imagine what the kid would look like. Long black hair and dark blue eyes?

Goodness, but if the baby is JC's he would probably smother Anita to death during her pregnancy. And she would of course STRONGLY object, which would make such a fun interesting plot.
On the other hand, if she does prove to be pregnant do you think that would slow down her sex scenes? I mean she still has the ardeur, so what do you think would happen oh.. let's say 6 months into her pregnancy? I can just imagine her having a threesome with this huge belly... eek
Of course the whole thing could prove to be just a false alarm... but then again 2 weeks late is ALOT.

The next book is coming out this year!!! I read the spoilers and Ronnie needs to get a life! Nathanial is all Anita's.

After reading more posts in this thread I'm looking forward to Jean Claude's reaction. Can you imagine all the emotions (the insane amount of jealousy!) the Master of the City would go through? He and Anita would share moodswings. I could imagine him as uncle Jean Claude, spoiling a baby and teaching it the ways of the world.
Also, what would they do about the arduer? I'd hate to think of a pregnant woman feeding that.. *shudders*

Well I think Anita deserves it! I hope she has that baby cuz it'll serve her right! Always having sex with countless men...geez. I used to modelize her in the earlier books, but lately she's just been horny as hell and careless as well!
As for Ronnie, didn't Anita say that Ronnie wasn't her best friend anymore? If I was Anita I'd probably tell Cherry. Haven't heard from her in a while. And I'd know that Cherry would keep it a secret. But then again I'd feel sorry for the other men...I'd bet they'd want the child to be theirs instead. But Richard.....?
