Ekage smiled at Zuri when she said she wanted to know what his family looked like, to return the favor he offered perhaps? Yes, that had to be it. He flicked his ital, tried to remember, he could barely remember his siblings now, his father was a blur, but his mother...his mother. It was obvious he was struggling to remember.
"My mother, she has lighter brown eyes, and...a scar on her left paw, and...one like an X on her cheek..." his voice was soft, it was hard for him, so very hard. "I have three siblings as well, my father would be with my mother if I know him well enough...he has a scar across his nose though..." that was all though, he couldn't even remember descriptions or markings on their pelts.
So many memories and scars...and they were all blurry.
Ekage began to take steps away, though he stopped, looked back at Zuri, and smiled, "Be sure to find water on hot days like this, alright?" he said with a chuckle, and then he was on his way.
He hoped he'd cross paths with his family soon.
At least...perhaps one day he could meet up with Zuri again.
That'd be nice.

"I will," promised Zuri. She won't be travelling and exhausting herself on a hot day like this again. "I hope you find your family. I will look for them for you, let them know that you are looking for them. Spread the hope."
Zuri smiled at her hero as he started to walk away. She won't forget Ekage, the hot sun reflecting off his white fur. He was a true hero, not only in his actions, but his appearance as well. His white fur, so pure, and his friendly personality boosted his heroic qualities.
"You're a hero, you know. Don't let anyone tell you anything differently," said Zuri proudly. She didn't know what encouraged her to say it, she felt corny doing so, but at the same time, it was neccesary. Perhaps there is true destiny afterall. There's a hero in this world.
