Flower Metal is Power Metal with overabuse of keyboards and overproduced tones, adding many effect to the instruments and vocals too..
about sonata arctica.. i-ll reply later.. can-t think of anything to say at 4 am in the morning, braindead...

To be honest, with flower / power (hey, that's kinda cool) metal, it's only the clones you have to worry about. if they're doing something fresh and new, then it isn't that boring.

When "flower metal" is the same as powermetal, then I like it. I like bands like Sonata Arctica & Rhapsody (only not TOO much of it :p )
