I walked in the door one day from school and my stepmum was watching a movie and I sat down and started to watch it with her: Benny & Joon. He was so captivating and absolutely dreamy. I can't say that I have seen every Johnny movie but all the ones I have seen were amazing. Yay for my stepmum?!?

im one of those that got hooked from POTC. but then..POTC was the first thing i had ever awtched him in. i have to admit..i didn't really know who johnny depp was b4 that. sweatdrop wish i knew about him earlier tho. crying but then, after watching POTC, i loved his acting, and his character. so, i began to rent his movies with my friend, and we watched a few. everytime i watched a movie, i heart ed him more and more. wink hehehe. so im thinking, if it was a different johnny movie i had watched b4 POTC, i wouldve probably been hooked from that movie instead. 3nodding

The first movie i saw that got me hooked was Benny & Joon! after that i just kept watching his movies. He is an amazing actor and his looks are just a bonus!

Wow I never realized he was in so many movies. I had seen him in Edward Scissorhands and I liked him then but when Pirates of the Caribbean came out, that is when I really got hooked on him.

i liked him before without really knowing who he was, and when i saw the first trailor for pirates of the caribbean i saw his name and i'm like "i know that name" so i did some research on him and then i watched pirates and then i went to the movie rental store and rented tons of his movies and watched them. AMAZING actor.

Well i saw him on Sleepy Hallow and Edward Scissor hands but i really got hooked when i saw him in Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of the Black Pearl.

But yeah...I was a kid and he was a Charlie Chaplin Illiterate young handsome looking boy. Since then I can only hope I meet a Sam one day.

The first Johnny Depp movie that I ever saw was Edward Scissorhands. I believe I was... 6? 7? somewhere around there... Even though I was young, I fell in love with that movie, *I was a bit mature for my age sweatdrop * and it is STILL one of my favorite Johnny Depp films.
The only thing that bugged me about liking his movies at such a young age, was that people would call me a teeny-bopper. At the time, I really enjoyed the movie because it was so creative, and I loved Tim Burton movies *The Nightmare Before Christmas has been my favorite movie since I was 5*. It really wasn't until I was about 9 or so and saw "Sleepy Hollow" that I thought he was handsome. *But he WAS handsome in "Edward Scissorhands" too. whee *
So I've been a fan of his for... eek wow...almost half my life. That's odd.

scluver Benny and Joon made me hooked on him! I loved the part when he slid through the hall and was like "mommy?". lol I also love the part in the diner with the bread rolls along with the "NOO SANDY NOOOO" scene. Depp is a fanastic actor biggrin .
