Tonight was the night, the letters had been distributed the previous night…any new recruits that survived would be arriving shortly. Shade’s sharp ears twitched with each ‘loud’ ticking of the wall clock, …only a few more minutes… he had been though this many times in these ten long years and he still got so anxious each night.

He folded his hands under his chin and narrowed his eyes at the door, …who will be able to make it tonight?…and…who will I lose?…

((So no one gets confused, I'm going to put Renka in dark red, Chi in purple, and both of them in blue))

Renka and Chi had receved the letter the night before about joining the Slade's Children and they were running away from where they were held captive for many years. So far, they had no problems with anyone on guard, so they just kept on running to where the note said to meet at. The two had lost half of their eye sight, but they gained many other scenses as well. Renka lost her left eye while Chi lost her right one, but the two twins never lost each other, and they were happy with that.

Renka ran right by Chi, she had amber eyes, a hat that stood out anywhere, a black and blue skull jacket over a black t-shirt, black jeans, and no shoes; she liked it better this way, less weight for her to run. She had unnatural blue color hair and was very pale with a black eyepatch with a chain on it. She also painted her long nails a dark blue.

Chi ran by her twin, Renka, she had coal-like eyes, a backpack that was red and blue with an egg on the back of it, and like Renka's hat, stood out anywhere she went, a white shirt with a white tie around the collar, blue jeans, and no shoes as well; she didn't really like shoes. She had a white patch covering her right eye, the straps going over her nose and forehead, she also had unnatural blue hair like Renka.

The two soon reached where Shade wanted to meet up with them, Renka stepped up to the door to knock on the door. It was loud anough to be heard through most of the house, mabye, so Shade must of heard it.

Taki went through the punching bags quickly. Perhaps it was the fact that before long, her combat knife found its way into her hand and the bags were quickly torn to shreds. After a while, the training room caretaker told her to get out before they were all out of punching bags. "They're called punching bags, not cutting bags, idiot!" A boy laughed as she was coming out of the locker her. "Shut up." She spat. She was really annoyed. Two more had escaped from The Orphanage. Taki wanted to punch something. It was their job to keep those monsters from being let out into the world. Taki thought somberly And killing more innocents. Frightening pictures of her mother and father flashed before her eyes. "Damn 'Children of the Night'." She growled, quickly blinking back the tears that had come to her eyes. Taki found there was nothing else to do, so she put herself on patrol, her guns loaded and her knife sharp.

Summer moved out of the shadows. She had walked down to watch.
" Why, dear Drill Sargent, are some of these Grunts unable to preform the workout?" She asked in a sweetly calm voice. Her eyes flashed...Summer wasn't to be messed with..She was the Highest Up of the Higher Ups. Her slight form moved with grace that was unearthly. She held her proud head high and looked over all the men with sweat pouring down their bodies.
