Frankly, I don't think she could stay with one of them without having someone else to balance it out. She loves them all for different reasons--not one is meant for her alone.

Strawberry Flavored Kiss I almost hate myself for saying it, but Edward for sure. People say Jean-Claude because he knows Anita best or because he can handle her. I would agree except that Edward does too. I've only read up to Narcisus in Chains, but even that far Anita still has hold backs that vampires should be off limits. I don't know if she ever out grows that feeling, but from thus far into the series, I'd have to say Edward. I'm confident to say though, that they will never be together. So in the end I'd have to agree to Jean-Claude. I'm almost sad that you're at the place where it all turned south for me and will soon be reading about the ardeur. I wonder though if it will change your opinion xD

Sometimes I wonder. I mean, if Anita had never slept with Jean-Claude, would she and Richard still have been the really good couple that they were or would those problems happen at a later day?
The only thing I didn't like about Anita and Jean-Claude's relationship is that he sorta bullied her into it in the beginning. Kinda "Date me or I kill Richard". What's a girl to do? Other than that, I'd say Jean-Claude is good because they understand each other really well.
Micah is almost a possibility!
Gah. I can't choose!
Oh, God, I just remembered the ardeur. >< Yeah, that's when things really went downhill.

Either Jean-Claude or Micah. Both have a deeper understanding of Anita then most of her other men and can work with her moods. That and she needs someone powerful and on equal footing with her. Richard would be an option if he wasn't such a ignorant, self righteous, girl.

She doesn't feel anything towards Edward. Micah is under the Ardeur and so is Nathaniel, but she hasn't cast their love back to them. Figures she'd need two guys who were under her complete power. . . o.O;;;
Jean-Claude doesn't treat her like a simp. He fully knows what she's capable of as far as her heart goes. About her powers--Their powers--I'm not sure. The secondary guys are great, but couldn't handle her. Stupid triumverate--but it did cause some really steamy times, and I can't bash steamy times.
Richard?. . . *sigh* poor guy made himself into something monsters fear so he could appear tougher than Anita. Competitiveness isn't something that should go into a relationship.
Asher? Fragile guy, in love with both Anita and Jean-Claude, but probably moreso with JC.
My advice: Go back in time and have Anita just be the Human Servant. No ardeur, sex with Jean-Claude, just pretend Richard isn't there. ^_^

I was just thinking that maybe none of the men in her life could ever be perfect for her. None of them are balanced in and of themselves, nor would they form a balanced relationship with Anita. All the men are either too much like her, too submissive, enabling, or just plain weak when compared to the "big bads" that she goes up against. The men that are hella strong and could always protect her are just male versions of her, and the men that balance her out, would get their butts handed to them by most of the enemies that she goes up against. That's one of the reasons why I think she's basically with all of them. All of them combined are the "perfect man" for her, but separately, not so much. That's also what bothers me about the series...I'll probably start a thread about that soon.

I can't make my mind up more than that that makes sense to me, definitely not richard, they would be miserable, but it seems like everyone else would be good.

I agree also, the only problem is that Richard has to be part of the picture because of the trivitate, if only she could figure out a way to use her Damien/Nathan trivitate in place of Richard somehow, kinda substitue them for him, then it would be great, Richard is turning mental and he could take Anita & JC with him.

jean-claude...maybe...i dont like him...well...scratch that...hes ok...he obviously loves her but still...you dont freakin force someone to be with you...oh and the fact that he ruined anita and richard's relationship...GRRRR
asher...hes awesome...but i dont really see him with anita as a couple...
micah...YESSS YESSS YESSSS!!! OMG YEEEEEEEEEEESSS! he's perfect...in almost every single freeeakin way. =] i really have nothing against him
nathaniel...again FLIPPING YESSSS! just cuz nathaniel happens to be my freakin favorite of all the characters she's been with =D
damien...again...NOT A PROBLEM! =] i love damien as well...so yeah...not much to say about him =D

she really isnt gonna pick out just one it would be to hard for now that she let them all in. maybe the way things are going now are just fine, the adeur and its baggage wouldn't allow for any other way. except for the richard problem which obviously needs adjustment.
