*polaris Dark_Queen_of_Death I don't say I am a goth, but I am told I am, just because I wear all black 99% of the time. I don't follow their culture, or fit into their stereotypes. I just like black. XD That's me, too. Whewt! Power to the non-goth-goths! xd

I do but I don't... I understand the purpose of labels such as gothic and gothic lolita, but my style varies so much, that I honestly don't feel that I am "part" of anything except myself. Or maybe I'm a part of everything? I don't know.

I don't. I don't consider myself of any one subculture to be honest, my mood changes way too much to be confined to such a small mold. Personally, I think that the American Goth can be quite beautiful and intriguing (no where near to EGL, but beautiful in its own way nonethless) and from my experience--it seems so restricting because of its lack of colour and not very fun, do to the personality a goth is portrayed to have. So overall, I'd have to say I don't find the American Goth very appealing.

I would not consider myself goth at all. I'm sweet lolita most of the time, i've been known to look kinda punkish and at times goth but I dispise labels.

I usually dress plainly. I don't wear make up, and I don't do anything with my hair. I have some goth friends, but no one would look at me and consider me gothic. But then again, most people think that "gothic" can only be determined by how you look.

I would say I am part of the Goth, and Gothic Lolita community. I don't necessarily dress in black 24/7 but i do have both the "goth" state of mind and Lolita interests. I enjoy linking both goth, goth loli in my life since they are similar , but really different. it gives it an interesting effect heart

Lolita is not at all inspired by western goth clothing or Malice Mizer. The lolita subculture came before Malice Mizer did.
And no, I don't consider myself a goth.

I would never consider myself goth. The two fashions are completely different, in my mind. A bit of a crowbar separation, please.
