Once the dark energy reached David, he was thrown against the wall. The staff, when removed from David's grasp, exploded, causing Davien a great deal of pain. "I will destroy you."
"Ziven, please hurry"

Moving swiftly, showing more strength and control than one would likely expect from her, she brought Glaedr to the waters as soon as possible. "We are here, Bjartskular. What more do you require?" she asked, looking to him with tearful concern.

Davien was thrown back by the explosion, but just before he hit the wall, he threw his staff as David, sending it deep into his shoulder before exploding into black smoke, which quickly dissipated.

The staff pinned David to the wall by his shoulder. He fought a loosing battle to remain concious.
"Get me into the water. Then go back to David...He needs your help."

Resting him in the waters, she bobben her head. Standing she shown him a respectful, tearful goodbye before rushing off to David. Seeing him pinned, she gasps and went to him, freeing him of the staff. "D-david?" she said softly, clearly distraught from all this.

Seeing that he was falling, she moved swiftly, catching him. Feeling great sorrow, that she had let her friend down, she lifted ihim in her arms too and returned to the society where she left Glaedr. Crying still, her hands trembling slightly, she rested David on the ground, kneeling beside him. "Please .. please, what may I do?" she asked softly to no one in particular.

Glaedr slowly walked up behind her. "It is better that you helped me first. He would have never forgiven you if I had died while you were defending him." He rested his hand on her shoulder. "We should get him into a bed."

"I understand, Bjartskular." she said softly, still looking quite sad. Moving to David, she again lifted him in her arms and began moving toward the Mansion. "Would you please be kind enough to lead the way? I do not recall where he rests." she asked softly. Despite carrying an entire person in her arms, she looked as she always did, walking slowly, steadily, with her head tilted down slightly as she moved.

"Of course" The dragon turned and walked slowly down a large hallway, dotted with numerous doors. He stoped infront of a large door that glowed slightly. "In here."

Once in the room, she gently rested him on the bed, making sure he was comfortable. Once she did, she bobbed her head to Glaedr, letting her eyes fall to the ground. "Is there anything more I may do for him? And for you?"

"No, we should be fine for now, we just need rest." Glaedr slowly walked over to a chair and eased himself into it. "I do, however, have a small request. I believe David would benefit if yours is the first face he sees when he wakes up."

She nodded her head. "As you wish." she said softly. Moving to David's bed side, she conjured a very specific armchair with low arms, low back, and plush cushions and pillows. Curling up like a cat, she closed her eyes and rested there until David woke up.

After hours of sleep, she woke with a large stretch. Wandering around the room for a moment she again curled up on the chair she conjured though curled up against the backrest, which became taller as she sat in it. Taking out a book, she quietly sat there reading and sipping tea, waiting for David and Glaedr to wake again.
