She lay down on the grass, Looking up at the sky, thinking, it’s all she can do. If she disappeared she would not be missed. She will be gone just like everyone else.
Getting up from the grass, she walks on the sand, looking outward towards the sea. She walks into the water high up above her knees.

I'm currently reading A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah.
It's a great book and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. And to think, I have to read this book for college... But I am so excited to speak with the author when he comes to our college... I have so many things to say and I kind of just want to hug him.... really badly.
~~~♥~~~♥ Narc Lit ♥~~~♥~~~ The waves softly hit her legs. She looks at the sunset and its yellow-red hues she walks into the sea, farther and farther, opening her arms towards the wave. The water is high up to her hips. The wave comes towards her. She looks at the wave with her arms stretched out; the water starts to rage, the wave hits her body hard. Then the water calms down. The water recedes, then darkness falls, and all goes dark. The sun goes down and the day is done.
I definitely recommend it. It's better than the play, if you ask me. Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind. heart
Instead of Helen of Troy I suggest "Troy" By Adele Geras. It is a fictional novel with all the historic implications of the Helen of Troy story and will invoke more emotional feedback without being such a boring read!
At the moment I'm reading Heart of Darkness by Joeseph Conrad for college.
All the "yayness" of imperialism and post-colonialism. Although a masterpiece in my understanding of the first few chapters...it is an inevitably dull thing for me to read just for the hell of it.
I haven't read anything since May. School really burns me out. Especially since I was an English major.. that means that in my last year of school, it was 5 books a class, 5 classes a semester (I only had englishes my last year..) Not to mention the plethora of required short stories.
Summer time is usually my break time.. or recreational reading time.
Best book I have read in a long time: Ill Met By Moonlight.
Fantastic story about Shakespeare and faeries.
I just finished reading "Anansi Boys" written by Neil Gaiman, and I loved it, it's a great book. Funny, and has that thing that only Gaiman can do, I love everything he writes.
And now I'm gonna read "Die Unendliche Geschichte" written by Michinael Ende. The English title I think is "The Endless Story", i'm just translating it from the title I have in Portuguese ... well it's the book that inspired that movie from the 80's anyway u.u
If it references anything to do with "A Midsummer's Night Dream" that's brilliant.
The Neverending story. I've been wanting to read that. Especially since I saw the film when I was younger and I loved it. I bet the book is 100 times better.
It's odd.. I love reading, but I have not read all year... Last school year I read all of the Harry Potter books in three, or less months I believe. I wanted to get to the fourth book by the time the fourth movie came out, and I finished it two days before the movie. Yes last year was the first year I read the Harry Potter books.... I've never had a liking for it before. I started reading the first book when it came out. It bored me to death and I stopped reading it six or seven chapters before the end. When I picked the books up again I fell in love... I used to read all the time, but recently, I've been too hooked on gaia, that reading books has flew my mind.... I should really take a break from Gaia....
