The old profiles are crap. Unless you know html and bbcode, you can't do anything with it.

There was no marketplace.

Gold was harder to get back then.

Events were scarce.

There were no games, or Towns.

Do you REALLY want to go back to that?

Scam free? Non commercialized? Please.

Gaia isn't commercialized. That's just what you think. So they promote movies and other crap here. Who cares? As long as I get items out of it, I'll just do the pointless quest and get it. I got an item out of it, and I know the plot for some movie I'm not gonna see, IF I pay any attention to the trailer. It's win-win.

It was actually EASIER to scam people back then. There no signs everywhere warning you about not giving away your username / password. Gaia used to run on some old out-dated forums and servers. The only reason there no raids or hackings back then is mostly because not only was Gaia small, but it never did anything to provoke anyone. It was just THERE. Another online community in development. Also, not everyone was friends back them. I'm an 03'er myself, so I have no clue what you're talking about.

There was no marketplace back then. Which is the main reason for why I'm not filthy rich as I could have been, seeing how I never paid any attention to the exchange forum.

There's no such thing as cheating. You can't CHEAT on Gaia. Those who employ methods like buying gold for real money get discovered. Everyone that commits the crime is eventually caught.

If you look at things, the new Gaia is a million times better than the old ones. There's more items, a better inventory, better layering system, better everything. Why anyone would want to go back is beyond me.

I'd like to see Gaia return to the way it was as far as the amount and quality of individuals. Yet, it would wind up this way again.

WOuld you rather give up all your stuff that you own now for the old gaia (scam free,care free, non-commersicalized, no cheating, everyone was friends gaia) to come back (2oo3-2oo4), or keep it the way it is and keep your stuff?

I worth over 5.5 MILL and would give it all up for the old gaia

I remember 2003-2004 Gaia. I was the only one in my circle of friends who knew about it xP. I miss it but I don't mind Gaia right now. I liked it better because it downloads faster on my computer but right now is fine with me too :3

I never really expeirenced the "old Gaia" but I would gladly give up all of my stuff in a heartbeat. Everyone makes it sound so wonderful. At most I'm only worth 100k, but still xD

I'd rather keep my items that I earned while I watched Gaia evolve and grow. I don't mind the new Gaia.

Just to say, I've been a member since July 2nd 2004.
