i love auron the way he holds his sword, his red coat, even his bad eye he is my favourite character from FFX and i'm just wondering is paine from FFX-2 related to auron atall because she holds her sword with one hand like auron did and she's very closed off from talking about herself like auron did so if any one can help me out

I wonder...none of the characters should be different except for their overdrives. All the stats for everyone is the same when they all completely fill the sphere grid. Not to mention getting all the HP and Strength ups. I funny how all of you are arguing over the fact that Auron is better than everyone else, when he is in fact, equal to all the others...

Auron... hehe i got his best weapon and such... got the max you can take away with break damage limit countless times.... 999,999 xD

SUPERxHIPPIE Auron... hehe i got his best weapon and such... got the max you can take away with break damage limit countless times.... 999,999 xD Try having a max HP of 99,999 without the Stamina Tonic. Also, for the sake of fixing a typo of yours, the max is 99,999 for damage, not 999,999...

Auron is strong, but you have to take into concideration:
He was a Bevelle Monk
He is dead
His slowness in battle balances out his strength
His health and defense balances out his slowness
He's like...in his 40's...that's plenty of time to train and grow strong
He is dead...
He has connections with Sin....
He's defeated Sin before

I'll admit he was strong, but I didn't find him very useful after Seymour's Second form...maybe it's just me. But on a positive note he looks and acts cool. especially with his one handed control over his sword, and his red coat.

He is good but after a certain point in the game he falls back. You know that point when you start doing 99,999 damage? Yeah, he sucks then cause you want the people that do multiple hits on their overdrives, as opposed to auron who might hit multiple enemies, but everything would only be hit once

Whomever said he was equal with everyone is absolutely correct. Also, you really do want people who hit multiple times to be in your party. He pretty much balances himself out. I will grant you that early on he wrecks everything, however.

I gotta say i stopped using auron right after i got out of purifico thing he was a waste of time and ont get me started on kimahri

Auron is the best and if you get everyone around the board their all the same I have even yuna can hit the max 99999.

Roxx-chan I can't say...the first time I played, I spent about ten hours leveling up in the Calm Lands...and then I did most of the sidequests. So I killed the challenge on purpose xd . And on my current playthrough, I haven't gotten very far...but he really doesn't seem overpowered to me. Especially when you think about his speed (or lack thereof). I think that the boss was easy but i too spent many hours doing sidequests and leveling up my players so i guess it wasnt such a big suprise that the boss was so easy once i got to him 3nodding i also dont think Auron was to strong, a character is only as strong as you make them
