It was rather strange, Ayako had to admit.
"If you wish it wasn't so, you should try to change it then." The kit said rather determinedly. In her view, she felt that if you wanted something you had to go get it. No one else could help. "Maybe next time you should try talking with the others, one at a time? Maybe you're nervous because our family's so big."

Nahanni stuttered to argue, but decided against it. She felt if she was dealt this card that she had no say in it. Just....continue living with it. To change? Eyes widened at Ayako, and she nodded in agreement. The family was so big...how was she to adjust and blend comfortably with them? "I suppose it's the only way."

To change oneself, was a rather debatable topic in Ayako's head. One side said that a person is who he or she is, and there would be people who would like their unique personality. The other side argued that one could change if he or she didn't like themselves, or that they annoyed people with their personality.
Shaking her head to get rid of the arguing voices in her brain, Ayako gave her sister a smile. "That's good." She was glad that her sister decided that she could take charge of her life if she didn't like it.

Nahanni simply nodded. That was an expected answer, like everyone enjoyed change. Maybe it wasn't change, just slight adjusting? She gave a sigh and leaned back into the chair. "I think...I'm getting better. But only for small talks." At least she was 'practicing' with meeting new friends. She blinked at her sister. "I wish I could speak up like you do. At least it's....not rude like Katsumi."

Ayako didn't exactly like change, she did think that people were fine the way they were...well, except maybe Katsumi. But since her sister seemed like she wanted to, she decided to do her part and encourage her.
Speak up? Ayako smiled. Actually, she thought nothing of it. "It's more like, voicing my own opinions." At that name, she grimaced. "I don't understand her. She seems like she is such in a bad mood everyday." Perhaps Enue was to, but she disliked her sister for being so rude to family.

Nahanni wasn't one to enjoy changes, unless they were to help others. If something was positive to start with, why bother it? Only thing was, she didn't know if being shy was good or bad...
The sister blinked, wondering how many opinions she had that could be said. She wasn't too sure since she hardly got in deep conversations with others. Ears fell back as their other sister was mentioned. She did seem moodier than Enue, which was saying alot. "Heh, if anyone stands a chance to make her happier, it's Hemi."

To Ayako, it was better off telling people how exactly she felt, in a nice way of course. She wasn't one to be rude, but others should know if they were unacceptable in her opinion.
Ayako gave a light hrumph at her sister's comment. "Yeah, but she seems like she hates him. How could she hate family is even beyond me..." Her tails drooped and she looked down, frowning.

Ears ducked at Ayako's huff. Nahanni blinked and smiled lighlty. "Well, I think it's all words." But even words could hurt badly. Small paws picked up the discarded book and placed it back on her lap. "I think...Hemi and Katsumi will have a close bond. Even if it appears...one-sided." They do say opposited attract, like magnets. Perhaps that was the reason Hemi was born, to help temper Katsumi.

Ayako didn't seem to believe that Katsumi could be so harsh without meaning it. She could sense her feelings behind her words, most of it consisted of anger and indignant. She was even so rude to the whole family. "Maybe." She said. But she didn't seem convinced.

Nahanni flipped open the book and tried to find an interesting page while Ayako talked. Eyes blinked curiously. "Maybe she has the cursed genetic? Like father. Do you think?" Maybe she was so grouchy cause she could'nt help it. Or not. >__>

Ayako shrugged. "Perhaps. Or she has something bothering her and she just wants to be alone." Turquoise eyes began to look down as Nahanni flipped the pages and tried to read the words.

That could be it. But, there wasn't really a way to just walk up and ask her. Dropping the subject, the kit flipped through the book quickly. Eyes scanned for anything interesting, mostly through pictures. Herbs, herbs, and more herbs. She sighed and leaned back. "So....how's your studies going?"

"Not bad." Ayako grinned as the topic, studies was brought up. If it was one thing that she loved, it was books. Katsumi was dropped off her mind for now. "I'm studying Defence Against the Dark Arts now. Looks like you're starting on healing." She peered at the various herbs as Nahanni quickly flipped the pages.

Of course it was magic, the dominant talent in the family. Interesting, just that Nahanni didn't think she could handle such a variety of power. She nodded at the question. "Yeah...slowly. Nothing hands on yet." Nope, just quiet reading.

Healing seemed to be a pretty neutral form of magic. To Ayako, it could help people whether good or bad, whereas Defense Against the Dark Arts was one-sided, helping the good fight against the bad. "I'm trying the Patronus." She said quietly, her tails starting to swish lazily in the air. The problem with it was that she couldn't exactly do it yet, she only produced a very white mist. It was because she couldn't conjure up a thought in her mind, happy enough to produce a Patronus.
"I wonder what our Patronus is like." By our, she meant her whole family. A Patronus was of an animal shape, it was different to each wizard or witch.
