Azami smiled happily taking the quilt off the basket seeing Hennessy pick it up. she hurried over to the spot and throw out the quilt spreading it on ground. making sure it was all nice and even.
she looked up and waited for Hennessy then got up to help him set the basket down. she began to take and set the food out. not knowing why or where she got this mannerism from.
But, she didnt care and contiuned her setting. after she was done she looked up towards Hennessy and smiled "i hope your hungry"

Getting slightly flustered as she started to lay out food, Hennessy realized that there was a LOT of it there. What exactly was he supposed to do to eat all of that? Or were they to eat it together? And if they weren't... he didn't have anything for HER to eat. Now he felt bad.
"A-ah I am... but... we-were're sharing... right?" Hennessy asked, feeling sheepish for not knowing.

Azami giggled softly covering her mouth with her paws "of course we're sharing" she smiled brightly "thats what pinics are for" she patted the quilt fo him to seat
"Come lets eats. i'm abit hungry myself" she says getting the two plates that were in the basket and started to pick some then handing the plate to him "I-i hope you like chocolate covered strawberries..."

"A-a-ah o-okay. I was afraid that... that I should have brought something too." Hennessy blushed heavily and hid his face for a moment, too shy to admit that he'd been wrong yet at the same time doing it. He was such a strange numa.
"W-wh...at are those?" He asked simply, dropping his paws as soon as she held them out in her paws to him. They were pretty... and dark and red at the same time, reminded him of her...

"hmm..." she tilted her head abit to the side thinking, then back towards him "no..not that i'm aware of. besides, bring food for you made me abit happy" she says with a smile and blush
She set the plate down for him "well...i guess their like fruit but, their called berries and their covered with yummy chocolate" she says bring her paws to her cheeks as she blushed "their real good"

Hennessy still blushed all the same, stuttering over his words like usual and trying to find some ground on which to speak, instead he just coughed and took one of the chocolate covered 'berries' that she handed him.
"Th-th-this is... r-re...ally good." Hennessy said softly, his blush turning almost as red as the strawberry that had tinged the fur around his mouth red. He at least liked that he was eating chocolate, but normally he liked bitter things, which was a suprise as to why he would like such a sweet berry, maybe it was because something sweet like her had given it to him.

Azami giggled smiling up towards him. she loved when he stuttered, she thought it made him look so cute. she moved some plates to the side for him to sit near her "really?...oh that makes me happy to hear"
She blushed up at him then smiled and stepped up towards him "you have some right here.." she licked some of the strawberry with chocolate off his cheek near his lips. she then looked surprised and turned away blushing wildly as she just relieaze what she just did
"i-im sorry..." she said abit embrassest(sp?) and not knowing what to do or say

Scootching over to sit beside her instead of so far away, Hennessy picked up another of the strawberries and was about to eat it when she licked the side of his muzzle.
Completely shocked and horrified, the larger numa nearly fell over in a faint. His heart started to hammer and his blush got so hard that he just couldn't believe his own skin anymore, even his black fur turned beet red.
"I-i-i-i-i... it's.. o-okay." Hennessy said quietly, swallowing around the huge lump in his throat.

Azami picked up her head still blushing she saw that he was in shocked and could hear it in his voice "i-i really sorry" she said in a panic. she reached to the basket taking out a container which had water in it
She fumbled the container trying to open it, finally manging to open it and pour some water. she hands it to him "h-here...i'm sorry...i-i'll try to behave..." she says with a blush.
she didnt know why she does this things. but, whenever she's around him she feels so comfortable that she sometimes loses herself. I'm such an idiot...why did i do that?...i'm going to scare him away...i just know it
She thought to herself, i cant bear to lose him...even...even if he doesnt pick me... a silent tear creeped up in the corner of her eye. she quickly wipe it away and grabbed some candy fruit to eat

Taking the water, Hennessy stared down at it, his own sky blue eyes reflecting in the shaking glass of water. His reflection was marred by ripples that kept coming because his paws were shaking too much for him to be able to hold onto the cup, it was a miracle it was still in his paws.
Though not for long.
That thought sprang into his mind just as the cup fell to the ground and his arms wrapped around her softly. Hennessy's whole body was shaking as he hugged her to him softly, face beet red from his own actions that were almost a mirror to what she'd done not so long before.
"I-it's okay... You don't ha...ve to."

Both shocked and surprised she blushed wildly to his sudden actions. but at the same time made her smile, with a few tears in her eyes she nods softly.
Hugging him softly she nuzzles into his chest letting a purr come out "thank you Hennessy" she says laying her head on her side against him
"lets finish some of this food before the pinic ants get to it" she says pulling herself away abit but still hugging him. she smiled up towards him and licked the tip of his nose

Wiggling his yellow nose a little at the lick, Hennessy smiled shyly down at her and licked hers in return. Everything in his mind was screaming at him to tell her, but instead he nodded his head in agreement to her words and looked down at all the food on the blanket.
"Wh... what should we eat f-f-f-first?" Hennessy asked her, his sky colored eyes flicking in her direction for her to GIVE him directions. Of course it didn't help that neither of them had really had a picnic before in their lives, so it wasn't like he knew what to do or how to eat one up fast. And what was an 'ant'?

His lick made her giggle. she looked down towards the food "hmm...ohh, theres some chocolate mints i've been wanting to try" she picked some up and handed a few to him
"you dont have to eat everything. only what you can ok?" she says smiling as she pop a mint in mouth "Mmm...this are good"

Distracted a bit by a statement of chocolate mints, Hennessy pricked both of his ears forward and gazed at them in confusion, not quite sure what they were. If they were chocolate but mint at the same time... that he wanted to try, he loved bitter things after all.
"O-okay... but I'll try." Hennessy told her softly, glancing at the rest of the food around him and pulling something out from under plastic to stare at it with his head leaned to the side in confusion. He had to learn what all these new foods were if he could.

"what is it?" she asks sniffing at what he was holding. she looked over it and smiled "they look like jelly beans. their very good too. they have different flavors" shes says with a wag of her tail
She was so happy being able to spent time with him. she went and grabbed two large items which her owner told her about. she unwrapped it. on two different plates were two different slices of chessecake
"hmm..." she says licking her lips, she shifted her body towards Hennessy. "this are cheesecakes, my owner made them. one chocolate and the other is raspberries. their not really candy....but, they sounded good"
She wanted to find something to talk about but, being around him just made her so happy. she moved over, closer to him and leaned against him, nuzzling into him. his fur was so soft it made her smile
