She listened to his reason letting her cheeks blush feeling her own stupidity.
She laughed in spite of herself with a ragged little giggle. Not becoming of a lady in her mother's eyes, but heck it just felt like the thing to do. This stallion was a bit odd but he was trying to help the conversation along it seemed. He came across to her as a wild one, not trying to be asinine like her brother, but rather clueless to the etiquette she'd been raised upon. Maybe if Deja tolerated her silliness in mannerism, she might just learn how other families valued and understood things.
"Ah okay I see what you're saying now. I guess I can be a wildcat at times if I think about it, though my mother's familiar Istas takes the cake." she mused smiling with a brightness that painted over her features.
She thought it a folly, a gamble to be playful but yet she asked him the same thing with a tilt of her head.
"Are you a mountain cat hidden in a stallion as well?"
He seemed so mysterious to her, so far to reach. Yet he hadn't skidded to the skies yet. Perhaps something was simmering, building through their miniature conversation. Perhaps she'd gain a friend, perhaps not.

Deja smiled softly, ah so she wasnt being rude it seemed. He just had made a dumb joke that had gone too low under her radar to understand, how typical of him. He watched her as she laughed, some what relived that she had not been looking down her nose at him, though he wasnt quiet sure why he cared.
"Me? A mountain cat? Hardly. I think im more like an eagle. " he said looking up at the sky though the canopy of thick leaves above him. He smiled softly as he thought about the question. Silly as it was he did put some effort into his answer. "They like the sky as much as I do, care free and proud."
"Well... wildcat, what else do you see that is not what I would see?" He asked her, dropping his gaze to meet with hers. He wasnt sure if she was imaginative or just another silly loopy girl, but for now she was entertaining and she wasnt anoying him.

"The sky is always nice. It lets one fly free and forever if they dare to." she smiled gazing upward at a fluffy mass of cotton-like form floating overhead, "I think I'm more of an eagle myself since I love to fly or a hawk even. Hee hee mountain cat Hawk"
His next question brought a sparkle to her eyes, "Well have you ever seen things in the clouds? Like that one right above us? Sometimes if you look really hard you can see many things. Say a soquili or an apple. Its more what the pictures form when you think about it."
She loved talking about things imaginative or realistic. It was like inspiration to her on days that seemed against anyone. Even the snow brought days of enjoyment if she searched hard enough.
"And you? What do you see when you look at a shape or form?" she asked with curiosity. Perhaps he saw more of what she didn't, by that each would learn more of one another.

Deja chuckled a bit as she recounted how she was a mix of the animals mentioned. He lightly shook his head from side to side, his braids falling against his strong velvet neck. "I suppose you are wild enough to be a mix of both."
Indeed she did seem wild, something about her seemed unobtainable. She was a free spirit and seemed to see good in everything... How strange it was for him to encounter her optomistic additude when compared to how his family lived. Free spirited but with an air of rebellion... like living free was a statment they had to uphold.
He tilted his head to the sky and looked up at the fluffy white clouds. It was hard for him to wrap his mind around how they could possably be anything else. They where whisps of dew and fog that where fun to fly through at times....
"I'm sorry... I just dont see it."

She frowned but held her optimism strongly. She just had to show him, one way or another that imagination, creativity, anything that brought goodness was worth believing in. Her mother was wise, and greatly missed, to have taught her traditions and happiness with her daughter. Such is family heirlooms that stay treasured from generation to generation. Not a thing per say but an idea, a memory branded deep within.
Forgetting herself she stepped closer to him with her neck outstretched.
"What I see right now is a flock of geese as they beat their wings across that great blue ocean. Like us they are free, untamed, able to fly where their heart's desire." she spoke with an almost lightness to her voice, sounding as if she wished her own form was traveling amongst those white fluffy clouds.
Turning to look at him once again she looked quite radiant as the sun flickered on her coat enchanting her eyes.
"To see pictures, dreams even you have to believe what you see. To be what you imagine." she nodded with a mirth filling her, "Try again and simply be what it is you wish to find".
She knew all creatures held imagination, some just locked it away and simply needed to unbury it.

Deja looked up at the spotty sky and the clouds and slowly seemed to drift into a vauge V shape. He tilted his head to the right, then to the left. He mind tried to wrap around the idea that she could see a flock of birds in the deformed shape of the clouds.
The tiny whisps began to fade and blur on the winds and all trace of flock soon ebbed into another fluffy shape. "I fail to see how the clouds looked like a flock of birds...It really is only a blurr to me. The are moving to quickly to hold a shape for too long." He said as he dropped his gaze to look over at her.
She had moved closed while he was distracted, but Deja didnt really mind. She wasnt really bothering him, but her notions where forigen to him.

Nitika who was merely inches from him shook her head with a small smile. Perhaps it was her mother's soft memories, or tales of things that caused her eyes to shimmer with so many things she saw in nothing but a wisp of grass or full set of clouds. Whatever it was she was bound to know then by heart.
"It takes time Deja. I think I've always done it as a foal, now that I think about it. But its a great way to pass time and enjoy what life tries to give you." she nodded back, looking into those wold set eyes of his. Perhaps his family thought differently in the views and beliefs of things, its what made everyone different.
"Alright then. Show me something you like to do, or enjoy seeing. Maybe I'll like it as well".
She liked the fact he didn't shoo her away, or tell her she was an oddball. Though he had trouble seeing that which she did, well she appreciated him greatly for at least attempting to try and visualize what she was talking about.

Deja raised an eyebrow at her as he finally realised how close she had come to stand next to him. He watched her for a moment as she spoke of her childhood for a fleeting second. "I see." he said with a soft smile. "well, maybe its a thing for dreamers to see." he said.
At her request her balked. He wasnt a dreamer like she was, he didnt see things in other things, so...what was her request. He didnt quite know how to take it, just what was he to show her. He did normal things, nothing she couldnt do on her own. "Uh..."

Oh damn. She did it again, always so inquisitive the males always felt so out of place around her. She needed some sort of alibi and fast for that matter. Wracking her brain she dug desperately for something anything that wouldn't make him turn away. "Ah what I meant was something you like to do as something fun, something that makes you smile perhaps? Doesn't have to be anything that exciting, everyone likes to do different things". She tried as her mind still grasped for straws. It seemed to her like it was a test almost, something she had to pass before moving onto the next level.

Deja nodded a little, he understood what she was asking it was just hard for him to wrap his mind around why she would want to know. He shruged his shoulders and lightly streched out his wings. "Hmm, well... I like to fly. Nothing is better than that." he said before he quietly pondered for a moment and looked up at the swaying branches above him. "Besides maybe a nice day spent in the shade of an apple tree."
He was a simple stallion, and liked the simple things. Things others often overlooked. This was the single benifit to his lonely days and awakward moments with others.

Flying. How she loved to fly upon silken strands of the sky's very being. Her only passion in life truly was taking flight to find things unknown. Seeing visions such as the ocean as she lapped upon the frothy shoreline, the tall outstretched mountains reaching high into the heavens, and even the deepness of the forests that grew so think nothing could be seen below. For one to fly in that vast blue ocean was truly a treasure, a memory in itself.
Pondering a moment her curiosity was sparking deep within her soul once more. What had he seen in his flights by chance? New places. New beginnings. Oh the thought was immense and vast as it played in her mind like a sweet melody.
But what if her questions annoyed him like most other stallions she come across? If she queried her curiosity too much he might find her to be a bother and will her off somehow. So she stepped lightly judging what she would ask and hopefully receive as a potential answer.
"Flying is something that makes someone feel like they could take on anything. There isn't a day that passes by that I don't spread my wings to feel the coolness of the air as it slides past me".
She watched him almost biting her own tongue praying she hadn't stepped too far past where she would.
"Have you seen anything," she started with a deep breath, "interesting in your flights?"
There it went, curiosity strikes again. She just couldn't help it, for it was something that came to her from little on up. Always the questions, always finding answers.

Blue eyes watched the mare as she seemed to bubble like a bubble rising from the depths of the ocean speeding towards the surface where it woudl explode. Something that he had said caused her eyes to dance and her whole body seemed to almost tremble with keeping back something.
He furrowed his brow as she watched her, what a strange mare. He blinked after a moment and finally raised an eyebrow. "Um.... yeah I suppose so. I mean.. flying makes me feel free, like nothing can ever touch me. Its the one place I can be myself." he had said to much and quickly shut that door.
Clearing his throat he nodded as he looked at her, again curious about her actions. A volcano ready to explode, with what though? That was the question. "I've seen alot of things..."

She couldn't contain it within herself as that giant wave came crashing around her in one fell swoop. Her eyes lightened as did her expression that pointed to the raw curiosity within her that simply expressed itself openly.
"Alot?!" she nearly fell over her own feet beaming with positive energy. There was so much that she never knew, never pondered in her entire life even. And Deja... well it sounded like he may have traveled the world perhaps. Huge mountains, vast seas, stretches of land with new wonders. Oh how she was dying to just go off to a faraway land and explore. Fresh flowers, cerulean blue skies, ah endless possibilities just mingled and thrived deep in her heart and soul.
Wow I wonder what things he's seen. Realizing that she was being on the level of a foal, she straightened herself up and composed a bit more. "Sorry. It's just I've been pretty much confined to this land. My dream is to travel and see different things. And maybe someday I'll go visit that place Dream Valley I keep hearing about. It sounds so wonderful."
Blinking she looked at him with a tilt of her head, sure he'd think her mad and unbalanced for the way she was.

Deja blinked at her and for the life of him he couldnt understand what he could have said that would make her so excited. He blinked at her and tilted his head to the side. She was positively glowing with questions and enegery. It seemed that the word 'alot' to her really did imply a mystical facination of all things. He blinked again. Funny how one little word like that could send things into a whole different realm of possabilities.
"Well... I think its nice that you want to travel and see different places. Dream valley? Ive never heard of that, is it across the sea?"

Nitika could of danced talking openly about her passionate dream. Like her adopted sister Feena she too wanted to be an adventurer, exploring and finding new things. A fun filled time in a place off the deepest secrets and possibly treasure. Eh... Feena was the one that liked at shiny things, Nitika was more for the reason of taking in new scenery.
"Dream Valley?," she repeated with a wide smile, "Well its a land that's far away from here. Past the spires to the east and onward I'm told." She mused momentarily thinking of where her mother and Istas hailed from. "Its where my bloodline on my mother comes from. Star Catcher, Sweet Stuff, Crystalline... They all came from that magical place."
As the wind rushed by with fall scented allure Nitika smiled with happiness that she wished her companion could experience. He was oddly strange yet the grown filly didn't hold it against him, for all living souls had difference that made them special. At times she pondered if her words, her thoughts annoyed him, but she tried her best to not be that way.
"There's supposedly a waterfall that cascades from a high cliff, that when the sun hits it just right the water turns into a beautiful rainbow. Can you imagine that? Wow I bet its beautiful to see in person."
She looked at him quizzically wondering what he was thinking just now. Was she loony and off her rocker, or did he too find it fascinating she wondered quietly. His expression was so hard to read sometimes.
