Foxglove listened with interest, in awe at the thought of all Convel spoke of. He had never been in the presense of a genius, but from the sound of things, it wasn't much different than being in the presense of an average. Of course, this was probably unless provoked to reveal hidden knowledge on a matter, he was sure. "Wow, I had no idea! Such a life he's led already!" he exclaimed, almost embarrassed on the matter, though he hardly knew why.
He didn't exactly know what to say on such a subject, though he was glad he didn't feel 'small' in the presense of Andre. In fact, he was more interested in the way the other acted, so much more loving of a small-time shop in the middle of the city. It was obvious he didn't care much for the money it brought in, more in-tune with making his life a happy one. It was interesting how one could accomplish this if one was given the opportunity, and the thought fascinated him. But for one who had never had much of a steady job at all in the past, any sort of long-term job interested him, if the employee was happy.
"Must be nice, huh?" he snickered, playing with the corner of the menu. "Perfect cover if one so pleased, too. Nobody would know he was a genius, and he could safely blend in with the others if he so chose. Wouldn't have to go out of his way for that, and nobody could bug him about it." He had seen shows where kids would bully the younger, more intelligent ones, and found himself being able to relate without actually going through the experience.
"Your mother's a necromancer? Quite the family you've got here, Conny!" he commented, amazed at the diversity. Foxglove's family had never been a large one, mainly consisting of the three fraternal triplets but had once been home to his parents long ago. Such a large family with such dividing aspects, all living together as a family should, for the most part... it was actually rather nice to hear about it. Sure, his own life had been hard in itself, but it didn't hand him the pessimistic attitude that usually accompanies it in other people.
"Ah! Cell phone number! Good idea!" he said, lifting his arms from the table with a quick jerk and feeling around in his pocket. Snatching up his own phone, he quickly flipped it open and handed it to Convel so he could punch it in. After all, saying it out loud and repeating numbers that weren't punched in properly or weren't entered in fast enough would take a lot longer. "I can do the same with yours if you want, if you don't already have it. I... can;t remember if I gave it to you," he explained, a little embarrassed over a forgotten memory.
"Oh, yes," Fox chimed in, "Definately fun. Always wanted to go to one someday, I just never got around to it." Wasn't completely true, but it wasn't exactly lying either. He didn't want to sound like a bum; well, maybe not exactly like a bum, but he didn't want to point any attention at himself on the matter. "Though you're going to have to show me the ropes a bit. I'm pretty new on the scene," he laughed, playing with a pointed hear absent-mindedly.

Conny chuckled "yes, he has had a busy life even though hes twenty-four though rest assured Uncle Tamaska is telling him to take the Exbhidition to Egypt he wants to go on but cant. Andre has always wanted to go to Egypt, hes a certified Archeologist, but he just doesnt want to leave the store even though Uncle Tamaska is capable of running te store himself. Someone can be a little TOO dedicated but I guess if its what he wants to do then I shouldnt complain"
He said wondering how many certificats he got when he was in uni, from what his father has said, he got a decent amount, but still he was curious. "Yes, it is a perfect cover" he said as he saw Tamaska taking food to someone "though get him started on ploitics or classic writers or something and he will never shut up.
I asked him about Edgar Allen Poe the other day, I needed it for research since the internet got cut off at homefor a few days and without thinking I asked him about Poe and he gave me his whole bloody lifes history. All i wanted to know is that if it was recorded he kept a pet of any kind, but no he gives me the whole history when, even though its itnerest, wasnt needed" he said with a chuckle.
"Moms a necromancer, yeah, and I guess it was interesting growing up with one but scary to, was almost killed by one when I was little, a vengful spirit wouldnt pass off to the other side, something about unfisnished business. My brother was trying to get rid of it but he wasnt strong enough so mother had to come in and save me before the spirit killed me, mother wasnt happy that he wasnt called before it happened.
Mom went off at Marius for being stupid to think he could handle a strong spirit like that on his own, he provoked it when it was already strong, the spirit didnt want to be sent back and thus when he felt threatned. The spirit nearly killed me in reteliation, as if it would make Marius change his mind aboiut sending him back to he other side....
So while it is interesting, it deffinatly has its bad side" he said as he pulled out the shang plushie and cuddled it, having had that thing since he was a baby and still couldnt give i up.
Conny took the cellphone and punched in his cellphone number and his email address, pushing his over to the demon, hoping he could figure out the cellphon given that it was the latest phone on the market now. "Hope you now how to use it" he said as he finished up with the others cellphon and pushed it back over to him.
"And I will be happy to show you the ropes" he said, knowing this would be fun, it will be good to sit in a mud bath again, maybe get a facial, get his nails done and everything else, it had been a while since he was completely pampered.

(( Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been really busy lately. DD: Don't be afraid to prod me when you want to RP and you see me on, though. I'm almost always in the mood when I get on. X3 ))
Fox leaned back, an awestruck smile plastered on his face as he looked around, almost as if he were bewildered. "Wow... That's amazing," he said softly, wondering what kinds of things he knew. "I know who I can go to if I have a question about something important!" he laughed, but knowing he wouldn't do so unless properly introduced first. After all, it would be pretty awkward to walk up to someone you had only heard about and ask them a question about classical literature or politics. In fact, he imagined it to be quite unnerving.
He blinked a couple times, still not used to Convel's talk about how he could almost get killed, yet be so nonchalant about it. Fox had never had an experience like that before, and couldn't imagine speaking of something so lightly. However, he didn't mention his thoughts. After all, why question something he didn't understand? If it was such a way of life, it must be easier to over come after time. Instead, he spoke of the necromancer's abilities. "Wow, that's amazing. He must be really powerful to be able to do that. I've seen things like that on television, with the vengeful spirits, but I can imagine how different it would be without all the camera magic, so I bet that's only a vague idea of what it was like. It must've been scary!" he said, wondering what it was really like but counting his blessings it hadn't happened.
Playing with his fingers unconsciously, he agreed with Convel, but could still imagine what had been going through Marius' head at the time. "Well, yes, it was a stupid mistake, but when you're young you make those mistakes all the time. Kids want to prove their worth to their friends and family, and I can see he probably just wanted to feel helpful. He didn't make good decisions on the matter, but part of life is making mistakes and learning from them," he explained, smile still visible in his eyes. "I'm sure he learned from the mistake, yes?"
Snatching up Conny's cellphone as it was slid to him, he scanned it over real quick and figured out the controls. He was rather good at figuring out mainstream electronics quickly, and Conny's cellphone was no exception. Replying, he said, "Yeah, I got it. A good thing about advancements in technology like this is they make them easier to use and to understand." He quickly typed in his phone number and filled in the fields for any other contact information he had (including e-mail, address, and fax of the apartment complex he lived in), just to make sure that if Convel couldn't reach him one way, he could another, just in case of emergency. He didn't want there to be another incident where a good friend of his is nearly killed again, especially if there is some way for him to prevent it!
Hearing that Convel was willing to show him around the spa made him even more eager to go there, but he didn't want to leave the parlor right away. Grumbling slightly, mainly as a joke, he said, "I wish there was some way we could... combine the spa and this ice cream parlor. Though that might be a bad thing, because I'd be tempted to never leave." He laughed, wondering what they would do first when they dot there.
