 She surprised him when she kissed him, almost sending them falling backwards, but he caught himself and wrapped his arms around her waist. Charlie's eyes closed as he soundly kissed her back.
Oh, how he had missed this. All other thoughts left his mind and all he could think about was the beautiful Audio in his arms and how much he loved her, needed her.
He slowly broke the kiss, disappointed at needing to break from her, but he had something he needed to say.
"Tangel... I love you, I need you. I don't think I could bear it if we were seperated again. Let me stay by your side. If it means I have to leave my home and live at yours, I'll do it," he said, pressing his forehead against hers.
"I love you."

 Tangel blinked softly, allowing his words to sink in and process a moment before she purred deeply. She gave a soft peck of a kiss to his nose and pressed her forehead to his. "I'd love that, Charlie." she started, now brushing her own thumb against his cheek. "But what about your family? They'd miss you?"
She bit her lip and let her eyes wander off to the side for a bit. "How about..." she started, trailing off for a second before looking back towards him. "Come to the islands with me tonight. This way, if by some chance we're seperated again for whatever reason, you'll know where you can find me..." She smiled warmly and gave off a constant and contented purr. "We can discuss our future once we get to the shelter." she confirmed with a soft nod of her head and a wink given to him.
"And... I love you too, Charlie. I always have. Inever stopped loving you... not even for a second."

"They would, but there's nothing saying I couldn't visit them," Charlie replied and listened to her suggestion. A smile played on his face and he nodded.
"I'd rather live with you, but if that's what you want it's fine," he replied and took her paw in his. He picked up his discarded lyre and smiled at her.
"I thought... Maybe I could build a little cottage or something by the lake where we could stay sometimes. If you wanted it, that is."

Tangel smiled and wrapped her arms about him once more. "I'd love that." Her purr continued to rumble on as she looked up at him.
"I know Ky wouldn't mind another living with us, but she'd insist that you have your human come and talk to her about it. She may be a little on the strange side, but she's still got some morals about her." she blinked and tilted her head softly. "I hope you understand...?"

Charlie nodded and chuckled a little.
"Reesh is different that way, but proper. She lets us make our own decisions in love. I wouldn't be the first to move away from home, and I doubt I'll be the last. Most of use are adults now, with our loves," there he paused and lightly touch her cheek, "And she feels it's okay to let us go out on our own."
"But I completely understand. And I don't want to rush you, either. I'll do whatever you want, Tangel," he added, kissing her quickly.

Tangel giggled as she kissed him back and shook her head. "Who said you were rushing me?" she asked with a playful tilt of her head.
"I want to forever be with you, Charlie. I just don't want to cause any trouble." she winked then turned, grabbing his hand in hers. "Come on then. It's easier to get to the islands when there's still light out."

"Then we are of the same minds," Charlie replied with a smile and squeezed her paw lightly, letting her lead him to her home.
"What is it like, your family's island, I mean?" he asked, unable to let a silence go on. He had so missed the sound of her voice and he wanted to hear as much of it as he could.
