To be fair (I can't believe I'm defending christianity..), whats the point of believing in a religion unless you think yours is the right one?
If you're willing to believe in other religions you can't really call yourself a devoted christian/jew/muslim/whatever.
There was a debate like this in a soap my mom watches a little while ago.

well ur right, i dont consider myself one solid religion. but it just doesnt seem fair to the other religions to demean them.

Like I said, I tolerate them. I don't mean to demean them, but it's just the way religion is. That's why wars are started, but it's not the only reason because even without it you'd still have wars fought over "THE GREATER CAUSE" of humanity or whatever.

Well that's why I go away from religions. At my school I'm know as a pagan. But I still think that religions are a goverment in their own. Like how the Pope is the Catholics President or Dictator. Whatever you believe. But Also I think that we should accept each other's religions and not go all crusader on people's beliefs. Because it's just selfish and wrong. To think your better than another human.

I know you're right... I try not to go on the offensive but it's hard when you're constantly worried that THEY might be the ones hating YOU.
I have a friend in Canada who has been beaten to within an inch of his life by four grown men just because he loves his boyfriend.
I've known people who have had stones thrown at them in the streets, recently a gay man in America was attacked on a bus, followed home and murdered.
It's hard not to judge when you feel like a major portion of the population could jump on you at any moment.

thats just terrible. i hate hearing that people get attack just because they believe in something else. i just wish humanity was more accepting of everyone but unfortunately thats not gonna happen sad

Yes life is a true hell. But killing in whatever religion is wrong. Unless you are of Islam and they really don't care.

The Muslim extremists are the only murderers, and since they are the loudest, they are the only people heard by the rest of the world. Evangelicals get their own channel on TV, so the "shoving down throats" and the uptight Christians who hate gay people (GOD HAS A PLACE FOR YA'LL AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE STRAIGHT! Oh, that place isn't Hell, by the way, and in my revolutionary, oddly conservative yet liberal Church that I'm seriously considering on setting up, I won't "turn" or force you to become straight!) are the only Christians that get their voice heard by the Western Hemisphere because they're rich and convincing. I'm going to create another schism in the Protestant Sect of Christianity. Anyone support this decision?

Unfortunetly no, but it was a kind offer.
I really think you should do it though... Even if I don't believe it, I'm certainly not against all christianity, just the ones that preach hate.

Nahhh...
I mean, they call Scientology a cult cause they don't actually worship a person or thing, as long as you're still all about Jesus and God and everything you're still a religion, nomatter what the actual details of it are, I think.

There are a lot of cults based around Christianity of which Christians don't consider part of the same religion (Like the two girls at school who think Catholicism is a cult and their form of Christianity came before it, which is most likely untrue, and Catholicism IS a legit form a Christianity. D:< ...There are a bunch of people who consider Jehovah's Witnesses cult followers, along with Mormons, and I know a few girls who are pissed that they were born a Mormon because the only way to get out of it is doing something REALLY awful, and their family will, like, shun them or something.)
ANYWAYS, if mine were based around drugs, I wouldn't get much people who're in it for the Lord, but more just to get high. confused I'd allow drug users and generally out-casted members of society in, but I would hope that it would be a place where they can find peace.
