:: Gem nods and shakes his head after Ritanya asks the question ::

"No ... I'll be fine ... just need some time to recoup ... but thanks"

:: Gem turns back to Lyse ::

"Well ... we're going to need all the help we can get. Most of those men and women are nothing more than farmers. They know the basics of fighting. Nothing more than that"

:: Sienne had come by, seeing everyone around Gem as she hears the comment made ::

"No ... none of them would survive any battle. But they have sworn themselves to Gem here. They are willing to sacrifice everything if it will end Orimus and what he stands for"

:: She smiles ::

"My name is Sienne. We've never met, but my husband Edwin told me a little about you. You helped him get back to me."

:: Sienne folds her arms over each other and huffs a bit ::

"Edwin? He's just as bad as our fearless leader sitting on his rump behind us. Edwin knows he's suppose to be getting rest. But he's over there pitching tents"

:: She rolls her eyes and shakes her head ::

"I just don't know what to do with the two of them. I know knocking their heads together won't work. But it is good to meet you."

:: She chuckles and turns to Gem and points a stern finger at him ::

"Now YOU! I will not tolerate any gruff from you. I WILL be getting you up and take you to the house. Where you WILL get some rest. Understood?"

:: Sienne rolls her eyes up again as she turns to Ritanya ::

"See what I have to put up with?"

:: She grabs a hold of Gem and surprisingly, lifts him up with ease and hoists him onto her shoulder. She turns and one could see that her eyes have changed a different color. More brighter, almost glowing ::

"Alrighty now. Let's get you to the house. If you'll excuse me. He's not a lightweight"

:: She smiles and makes her way to the house with Gem on her shoulder and disappears into the house ::

:: Lyse watches the exchange between Gem and Sienne. One would think Gem and Sienne were the married couple. But she knows, Sienne is like Gem. A tri-soul. They have something in common. And she knows Sienne is madly in love with Edwin ::

:: She turns to Ritanya ::

"Well .... hopefully Gem will learn his lesson. Don't push himself to hard or feel the wrath"

:: She chuckles ::

:: Lyse chuckles ::

"Yes ... some are stubborn"

:: She looks around again and sees everyone either working or resting. It's been a long day for those men and women ::

:: She sighs ::

"Well, I don't want to push these people too much. They look tired. I'm sure there will be time enough to get them in fighting shape. How about we get back to the Lunar Hope"

:: Lyse smiles and wraps her arms around Ritanya' neck ::

"I am now"

:: Gem returns to the Sanctuary having left it briefly to return to the Defiant. Good thing he did or someone would have died. He shakes his head as he clears his mind of it for the time being ::

:: He stood outside his home and looked out towards the vast fields surrounding it. What was once empty land, now is dotted with white tents. Feline men and women milling about waking up to their first day away from their homes. Gem sighs as he looks at them ::

:: Some look old and others look young. But yet, here they stood answering the call to join his fight. He felt a sense of pride as he looked at them but yet there was that feeling in the pit of his stomach ::

"Am I doing the right thing," he wonders outloud.
