Vayamos! Rico silently urged himself on, his little legs pounding the dirt as fast as he could go. He was tiring quickly, not used to such grueling excercise, but his heart was determined to keep going. He would not give up until he saw again that mare who had sped so swiftly by him.
He had been minding his own business, trotting about a small lake, stopping every once in a while to strike a dashing pose and peer at himself in the water. Then, a black and orange blurr had apeared on the horizon. As it moved closer, it began to take the shape of a mare, and then just when Rico was beginning to see that the female had red eyes- she was gone! She had moved on, brushing past him as though he was naught more but a rock. She had looked familiar, but he had seen her too briefly to be sure.
Of course, he had called after her, wanting to know her name. He had trotted after her, his steps high, prancing about and calling at the top of his lungs. But still, she continued on, as though she had not hear him.
And so he had set off on the chase, following in her hoofprints. With his small stride taking into consideration, she quickly pulled ahead of him, and was soon lost in the distance... but he still had her trail to follow, and follow it he did.
Now, he could see a large winged thing not far off, what he took for a Soquili-bat crossbreed. And behind... was that? ... Yes! A black and orangeish form, quite female in appearance!
A silly grin appeared on his face as he urged his legs ever faster, determined to reach his destination now that it had finally stopped moving and was waiting for him.
Keahi blinked, peering around Antony as the sound of rapid hoofbeats reached her ears. She squinted, but could see nothing more than a small cloud of dust, with what appeared to be a multi-hued... rock? ... no... very very small pony? ... moving in front of it. She stared, peering closer, trying to figure out what it was.
