Mufufufu, Ah, many threads, allow a prinny to explain the process:
We are not naturally explosive, rather, many prinnies rig themselves to explode, the most common method being filling themselves with highly flammable unobtainium gas. Barring that our pouches often contain the necessary components to blow nigh anything up.
Now, I would direct your attention not to how... but why! You see, we prinnies are immortal, so merely being blown up isn't any sort of problem for us, we just get a new suit and continue terrorizing the general populace! And that is why we see no problem with rigging ourselves with explosives. Of course, I'm brighter and stronger than your average prinny, and simply being "killed" as you say by being thrown would be a weakness, considering how easily I can hold my own in combat, so I choose to avoid such tactics.
Now, bask in my glory and wisdom. Hahahaha!

well its all simple it all comes back to Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force Ofcourse. If it has not become clear i will explain. If u watch the show u have more than likely relized that everything he throws explodes.......so the person that reincarnates them is none other than Master Shake and he gives him the ability to be thrown and explode.........that or there diet consists only of burritos

prinnies explode because they are corrupt human spirits and they deserve to explode!!! nope just guessing but seriously they are cool unless they get hit by something that makes them explode... (twitches because of bad prinny related memories)

I think they explode because all the things they carry in their bags on their front explode from the force.
Think about it... if I had a bomb that explodes on contact with anything in my back-pack and you threw me, I'm pretty sure it'd explode.

i think it would have to do with the fact that prinnies didnt have any special skills... i mean everyone has their own special abilities in disgaea so the prinnies felt left out and decided exploding was the only logical solution

as much as I hate to explain using reason, my theory is this: inside the bags that all the Prinnies carry, they have tons of explosives and a lighter. When the get thrown, it somehow cause that lighter to make a flame, thus setting off the explosives. 3nodding
