THe words seem to stab at his soul. Hate him? He expected that he would hate him? Well true enough he was still lost on what he ...had as feelings for Ligeia, cause even if he now looked more like a guy, he still couldn't...get use to that he actually was a guy. moving Chath went to plop down on the couch and awved Ligeia over to join him.
"I am really sorry. don'tblame yourself for this. My...obliviousness brought this all about." he stated sounding rather annoyed with himself.

Ligeia walked over to sit down next to the other boy, running his hands over the pretty gifts as he laid them in his lap, "I... I doubt that I helped any I..." He made a motion with his hand, "I don't really look the part." He didn't look at all like a guy so how could Chath have known?
He looked over at Chath, "I didn't... mean to trick you I just never thought about it." He murmured, "I mean Ter calls me a girl all the time but I just figured it was cause he was my brother." He felt like he should explain so that Chath wouldn't blame himself so much.

Chath chewed on his lower lip. Saying nothing as Liegia spoke, true he was mad at Ligeia, but then again...he didn't do anything wrong. And now he was nervous. What should he do? Say? Ligeia accepted the gift. did that mean......he liked him back?
WAIT what was he thinking? Did he really mean to give the gift as ....a gift...like...boyfriend girlfriend? well that had been the original intent... Chath's mind was going a mile a minute. He was sweatin..a lot. and Felt too warm. Standing up abruptly he knew he needed to his water bottle. He hadn't thought of bringing it with him, he had been so care...ful..
"i.." he started and then the world spun...and went black. He was blind. he couldn't see...! And then he knew he had hit the ground. Then..nothingness.

Ligeia was on his feet immediently dropping the things in his lap as he rushed over to Chath when he suddenly collapsed, "Ah! Chath!" He cried, kneeling down next to him and looked him over having no idea what happened. He'd... had he fainted? That couldn't be good, "Chath?" He leaned over so he could listen closely to make sure that his friend was still breathing, his heart still ok before he looked around. He needed help, help who...
"Keir!" He called, loudly hoping the dragon would come to his call even though he wasn't the dragon's partner. The dragon knew Chath, would know how to help Chath so it was thing he could do aside from sit with the newt boy and fan him with his wings wings.

The young black dragon looked up as soon as he had seen Chath fall. Silly boy. He was already trotting his way over when Ligeia called. Looking over the boy he knew instantly what was wrong. As Chath had suffered from some of these...fainting spells quite frequently.
"...wwaaaaaaatttteeeeerr..." the dragon hissed pointing a taloned claw towards the kitchen sink.
Chath meanwhile lay unconscious on the ground, his breathing shallow though regular.

Ligeia nodded at the dragon's instruction and ran over to the sink to turn it on then went digging around through the cabinets to find something, something... ah-ha! He grabbed down a pitcher and filled it up with some cool water before returning to Chath's side, "Ahh... how much should I..." He shook his head, trailing off as he decided instead to pour the contents over the newt instead of waiting for further instruction.

Chath's eyes snapped open. Water. Pure and simple. True he didn't feel like he could get up at the moment. His arms still very much felt like lead, but sputtering he limply tried to wave his arm to stop Ligeia from drowning him.
But could he drown? His skin could breath air by osmosis while in water, but heck he didn't think water in his lungs would be great either. With a cough he felt some of the water trickle into his mouth. It was nice, how did Ligeia know?
"t...thanks." he spoke shakily.

Ligeia gave a happy sound as the water revived Chath, then knelt back down and set the pitcher aside so that he could lean over Chath to look him over closely, "Are you ok?" He asked, sounding quite worried, wings fluttering behind him. Chath was away and talking so that had to be a good sign right?
So much better then the unconscious thing, alright he would make a mental note that water was something very important to the other boy. He really should work on learning more control over the water element he would be able to help out his friend that much more were this occur again in the future.

Chath nodded his head limply. This was embaressing. Having Ligeia fuss over him. He would be fine in a moment. This happened to him a lot, though not nearly as much as when he had been a child.
"Yah...I'll be fine." He said taking a long breath and releasing it slowly. Testing out his fingers and feeling no lethargy in them he explored teh possibility of sitting up. Slowly. Slowly. Ah okay.
Sitting up he could feel his world center again, no more dizziness. That was good.
"I havn't had that happen in a long time..." he stated looking rather worried about the fact. normally he always kept ahead of it. Making sure he was well watered, he sounded like a plant. But Ligeia had helped him, and he felt bad for making him worry.
"Sorry about that."

Now that he knew that things were going to be alright since the other boy was moving around, sitting up, talking. It all looked alright. Chath didn't get to sit up for all that long before Ligeia all but tackled him, arms wrapping around his friend and hugged him tightly, "Good, good. Was worried." He said.

Chath was a bit surprised by the tackle hug. Stiff for a moment while his mind froze, before finally wrapping his arms aroudn Ligeia and hugging the boy back. A slow smile spread on his face as he leaned in and burried himself into Ligeia's hair. Guess, his feelings weren't going to change much. Even if the gender had.
"It's okay...I will be okay now." he said soothingly.

Ligeia happily snuggled his friend a moment more, listening to Chath's voice, to what he was saying before he finally drew back. He was a little flushed, feeling silly that Chath was the one assuring him when that things would be ok when it was the newt that collapsed. Shouldn't it be the other way? Though from what Chath had been saying it sounded like something that had happened to him before "Good, I'm glad." He said, "What... exactly happened?"

Feeling a bit embaressed he scratched the back of his head idly.
"Well you see, when i overheat I tend to dry out. Since i am part amphibium I need to keep my skin damp. " he explained and then realized that didn't really explain anything...at all.
"Er..it is because it is like my skin 'breaths' for me but it needs to be damp to do it. Like keeping a real newt out of water too long would dehydrate it to the point where it will die. I don't think I will do that..of cuorse.." he said trying not to worry Ligeia further but still ended up making it sound a lot worse than it actually was...
"I mean if i got locked up in a room somewhere for days and days I guess something serious may happen. . ." he continued an then shoook his head.."but I can summon water so it isn't like this is something that would ever happen anyway!" he protested with a nod of his head.

"Your skin breaths?" He asked, leaning a little closer seeming to Chath as if to get a better view though it wasn't as if he were going to see anything that showed how his skin could breath for him. All he could see was a pretty color of orange and little else, then drew back some realizing he was invading Chath's personal space.
"Wow." He murmured, eyes widening a bit, "That must be hard." Ligeia got overheated out in the sun at times to but nothing ever so bad as what Chath was talking about could happen to him, to think that needed to stay damp so as not to die, "Your right it is good that you can summon the water." He murmured in wonder, "I wonder if that was why you were taught such a spell? To help you protect yourself?" It was idle musing on his part but made sense.

So...close. Chath blinked as Ligeia leaned in towards him, assuming the he must be observing his skin, but it was very close. When he drew back it was a bit of a relief and yet he kinda missed the closeness.
"Yah..it use to be worse. When i was younger my skin was really sensitive as well. Most things hurt, even a small rug burn felt like fire." he commented non-chalantly. His pain tolerance he risen measurably.
When he thought about what Ligeia said about the spell he wondered if that was teh real reason he had been taught to summon water. Though Mr. Barkhelm had said it was because he was a water creature to begin with. . .
"Er..who knows? Mr. Barkhelm said it was my nature to be comferable with water, so ..i just assumed that was why i learned it."
