I love using music for magick. But I use really randome stuff (Lots of showtunes actually. It works well cause I'm into theater). During my Beltane ceremony I sung "Cover You" from Rent. But there are lotsa new age CDs out there. As for magikal workings, you could try some Pagan bands. What's that one my friends listen too? InkubusSukubus? I think that's it. And Burning Sage. Or, to keep it simple, get a nature CD. Any metaphysical or occult stor sells them. Or you can check your local library! 3nodding

Honestly, Its mostly personal preference as to what music works for you. For instance if you use Hip Hop during rituals (though I would never understand why anybody would) you may have good results. Personally I use Chants and slight orchestral music. Though sometimes I've used some Yngwie Malmsteen, Bruce Dickinson (Solo stuff...his album "The Chemical Wedding" is based off of the poems and writings of William Blake, a mystic/engraver/alchemist/poet, and its amazing) , or Blind Guardian.

I'm afraid that what I listen to probably wouldn't help, as I generally use it for rhythmic trance work.
That being said, I tend to prefer Hedningarna (a folk-rock group from sweden) because they use a lot of unusual sounds and odd beats.
some of their songs may, now that I think about it, be useful, as they have collaborated with Wimme (a saami [lappish] joik singer; joik is an unusual type of chant which is vaguely reminiscent of native american chantic)....
