A lot of people start masturbating when they're young, but most of the time they probably don't recognize it as masturbation. I'm pretty sure I started like... when I was 11 or 12, but I'm a guy so that doesn't really matter.

When I was 9 I figured out by accident that it felt really good if I put things at the right angle to the water jet in the swimming pool. I didn't realize what I was doing and I even got most of the girls at my daycare to do it too, we took turns and the teachers never found out about it. All the boys thought it was gross ("You're touching your pee!")
When I was 12 (right after my first sex ed class) I started having sexual fantasies, but I had no idea how it actually worked (all they had covered in the class was STDs and what happens after you get pregnant, not actual sex. I felt so cheated.) so reenacting of those fantasies amounted to rubbing a blanket between my legs and posing in the mirror. i started probly when i was about 9, that i can remember, but no knowing what i was.
atleast for me.
i knew guys could masturbate, but i myself didnt know.
then once i got older, arround 13 i guess i got a computer and started talking to people and about stuff like that and i learned. and my first boyfriend was older then me and asked me if i did that and im like no.. i really dontknow how and then i was told ways to do it and learned some really amaising things.
