Red hair covered Nahanni's eyes as she sat quietly and absorbed the details. The sudden news of the possibility of transforming made her snap. She had been startled, concerned mostly of the unknown experience to come. She peeked at Romulus, now understanding his intense wolven gaze. A stray gene was all it took to harm one of them. Brown eyes flicked quickly to each sibling, before aiming back at the ground. Who would turn? Would any of them even get the feared curse? Her mind drifted at the possible outcomes, and slow breathing calmed her. If the threat were to target her, she wouldn't care. Sure, she'd be rattled from the frightening experience, but otherwise she'd just accept it without a struggle, and quietly move on. What she did care about, was her other siblings. A wary eye glanced at prepared wands, knowing their purpose. All she could do, any of them do.....was wait. The sun was setting, and the kit wrapped her tails tightly around herself.

He had nearly waited too long. Remus glanced at the setting sun. He knew the moon would be close to rising already, if not already cresting the horizon behind him. The wizard hoped he was not putting his family in undue danger by waiting so long to take the potion. Dark eyes cast one lst fully aware look at those gathered, wanting so much to pull his family to him and nuzzle them senseless. But he had waited too long already. "It is time." Remus stepped through the doorway into the shack.

With pain filling his little body Remus' guardian held the potion bottle up to his kitsu, wincing with sympathy as the werewolf did knowing how the potion with its active ingredient of the dreaded wolfsbane plant burned Remus from the inside out. His attempts to hide the disgust at the distasteful brew fell far short, as did any attempt for strength once more than the wolfsbane hit his system. His body slumped, intelligent eyes dulling but not reaching vacant stares. They still looked like his eyes, but tired, drained, exausted, & dulled.

Accustomed to this -though each time it hurt anew- Liliana forced her gaze away to watch her siblings as she knew her father wanted her to do. She also made a step towards Edward in a clearly protective gesture in hopes that should the worst happen and one of the new kits change her instincts to survive could be tricked into also protecting him if her thoughts were not quick enough. Hemi wavered between Vynnessia & Katsumi, one for his comfort, the other to comfort. He wound up between them, not really touching either, a gesture so unlike the cuddling kit that Lily worried upon seeing it until she saw the logic of such a move. Apart, it would be easier for any one kit to be taken care of should signs appear that he or she was changing.

A beam of moonlight flickered around the edge of the barn. Remus winced once more though such actions were now slowed. His kitsu body shifted and grew, chocolate fur became gray, teeth and claws elongated, robes once loose now stretched uncomfortably -Remus had forgotten to remove them.

Tremors ran up and down Nahanni's frame as the meeting grew longer and the daylight grew dimmer. Anxiety was starting to get the better of her, as it was time for her father to enter the shed. Brown eyes widened as a horrified look came across her face at the transformation. Was this to be her tradition?! To sit back and be helpless while father was in pain. Her mouth was agape and tears were leaking from her eyes. How...could her mother stand it? How could anyone stand it? She wished to hide, to run under one of her siblings tails and pretend they were her safe chair in the cottage. But she was left alone and petrified to the spot.

Aiden was scared. His eyes never left his father as he went into the shack. He wondered who if any of his siblings would change. If there was any? He shivered feeling his aunt nuzzle him comfortingly. Though even that was short lived. He glanced up at the moon and his heart raced as his eyes almost slotted. He could feel something changing in him and he opened his mouth trying so hard to say something but he couldnt. His eyes were glued to that big silver disk in the sky. It only took moments before his little howl of pain could be heard everywhere. Aiden winced painfully crying out hunching over as his little body felt it was going to be torn apart. The moon was rising and thats all it took. The transformation for him had begun. Skin was stretching painfully fangs were growing as he writhed on the ground. Terrified and in pain he lashed out at whoever got to close to him.

Noko dodged back when he started snapping. She had tried to keep him in his right mind to get him to the shack but apparently that wasnt possible. She would have to leave this to those who were experienced dealing with this. She frowned painfully. Her little nephew suffering so was painful to watch.

Unable to hold his own head high, Romulus himself was fighting his own issues with the accursed full moon, his fur raised on his hackles and his eyes were slitted. It wasn't that he was changing, but more or less, he was attempting to keep his sanity and Superego so that his sisters were not stranded; he was the strength, they were the main magic.

It took a few moments of fighting himself before he heard his father's uncomfortable transformation beginning, but it was the sudden vocal snap of his sister, Vyn, that raised his head; his muddled thoughts cleared by that sound. Sharp, wild wolven eyes stared at her; it took a moment for him to recognize the situation.

Frowning sharp, Romulus bounded over Liliana, pocketing his own wand and made his way to his mainly sane younger siblings, giving his sisters an unneccesarily sharp glare that only meant "GO! I'll take care of them!" as he kept his long body and wings defensively against his little brother. If anything happened and Aiden attacked without knowledge, he knew that he would be best physically set; besides the one with the red cloak, Edward. Turning his head, he raised a very sharp, beckoning eye to the Alchemist, almost as if he was telling him to come defend with him, before turning to his younger siblings, and Aiden.

In his unclear head, he almost enjoyed this..

A little scream was emitted as Ayako watched her brother change. Looking around wildly to find who had screamed, she distantly realised that it was herself. But why? Why Aiden? He was such a loving brother, why him of all of them? It wasn't that Ayako wanted any other of her siblings to change, she just...just...couldn't believe it. It was a shock in her head, it seemed like something had caused her brain to explode.

Slinking over to Hemi, Ayako began to cry softly, leaning against her other brother for comfort. For once, she was afraid and lost. Very.

For a moment.. Edward tensed as he heard the screaming. Golden eyes turning quickly towards the source and managing to catch sight of Aiden. He was ready for whatever might happen, but Lilianna and her sisters quickly took control of the situation, which allowed him to relax. The teen watching as the kit was flung into the shack with his father, and the door slammed shut.

Sighing lightly, Edward used his alchemy to return his automail to its normal state. Hearing Lilianna's words, there was sympathy in his eyes are he looked up at her.

"I'm sorry, Lily" he said softly, wanting to be of some comfort to his best friend.
