Once they were out of the windy area, Katlyn stretched as only a feline could, quite happy with where they were. "Thank you, Jasper," she said with a smile. "This is much better." Green eyes blinked at the sight of the snowball that he still held in his hand, and quickly catching on the cattaur dodged behind a tree with a small giggle, bending over briefly to pick up some of her own snow. "Come and get me!" Now if only she could properly form the snowball...

Nodding happily, his eyes widened in surprise when the cattaur suddenly jumped behind a tree. Understanding hit him and a sly grin warmed his innocent features. "Here I come!" He called, throwing his ball at the tree Katlyn hid behind before slinking through the trees, scooping up another snowball along the way.

Katlyn 'eeped' at the sound the snowball made when it struck the tree, and she hastily tossed her malformed snowball back in his direction before scurrying off. She scooped up some more snow along the way, just to be ready.

Jasper smiled happily, watching a snowball come at him but it already behind him as he snuck around. Spotting a flash of Katlyn's parka, he aimed just ahead of the moving body, planning for the ball to intersect with her when she reached the spot.
Unfortunately, the ball wavered and broke against a thin tree, the ball shattering into a cloud of flakes in the cattaur's path. Snapping his fingers in annoyance at the tree, he runs to find another spot to aim from.

Katlyn blinked in surprise when it suddenly seemed to be snowing around just her. However, she didn't stop to ponder the phenomenon for very long for slinking around to find the wolftaur. She held up the snowball in her hand, ready to go on the offensive on a second's notice as she looked about for him.

In his search for a spot, Jasper realized he'd lost sight of the cattaur. Perking his ears, he listened intently for any noise. Glancing around furtively, he bent down and quickly made some snow walls to hide behind, like a fortress. The, he called out, hoping she might forget and call out a reply, giving away her position. "Katlyn! You there?"

Unfortunately, Katlyn was not there. In her search for Jasper she had inadvertently gone in the opposite direction of him, and now found herself to be quite alone again. "Jasper?" she questioned hesitantly when she realized that she couldn't see the wolftaur anywhere. "Are you still there?" Well shucks, this wasn't too fun...

Jasper waited for a reply. And waited... And waited... "Katlyn?" He had to stand, his legs starting to shiver in the snow while trying to sit still. He looked around, sniffed the air. "Katlyn?" He called, ears flattening. Was she bored with him already? Had she ditched him? Wait- what if she just got lost? She was still new after all.
Lost! In the winter! He couldn't have that happen! He jumped from his little fort and scurried to where he had least seen the cattaur. "Katlyn?"

The cattaur pouted to herself as she looked about and only saw snow and trees. "Aw... And I was having fun too..." She paused and her ears perked up at the distant sound of her name being called. Recognizing the voice, she was instantly elated. Jasper! Rather than answering back right away however, she readied her snowball in hand and charged straight in the direction he was shouting from. "Hiiiyah!" she exclaimed in glee when she finally found him, instantly lobbing her prepared snowball in his direction. It was a good thing he had come looking for her, or else the game would have come to a boring end.

Jasper's ears perked up at the sound of paws in the snow, but he couldn't figure out where it was coming from, all the trees distorting the sound. "Kat-?" He started, only to have the female jump out of no where and recieving a face full of snow for his efforts.
'Well...' He thought to himself, brushing snow out of his eyes, 'She's certainly not lost...' He almost wanted to be upset that she had hidden for so long, but the game had no rules about that. Face cleared, he stared at Katlyn a moment before laughing and running to dive behind his fort again, grabbing up the prepared snowballs and throwing them. No point in getting upset over this. He might tell her later though that worrying someone like that wasn't nice. For now, he laughed and enjoyed himself.
