Eirwyn I missed it last week, but I watched "End of the World" this week. Not only is it a nice, uninterrupted and uncut 45 minutes...they fill the last 15 minutes with CONFIDENTIALS!!! xd xd xd Awwww! My mom and dad both wanted to tape something...so I missed it...and I really wanna see the confidentials! Not to mention it's nice and uninterupted.... *sigh*

No, when the Series 1 Confidentials aired in the UK, they had a lot of bits with clips from the Classic series scattered through them. That was all edited out later for the DVDs & such. I saw part of one on one of my pirate DVDs-- it was cool!

If I remember correctly, the Confidentials were edited on both the UK and US DVDs because of music licensing issues (basically, they'd have to pay more money to keep all those pop songs that played over the clips). Basically, it's the same reason as why two Beatles songs had to be replaced on the DVD for Remembrance of the Daleks.
