I hope sombody did... it'll help the guild along if i can advertise it for you.
And i have a suggestion, in my FFVII guild we have an affiliates sticky, where peole can advertise their store, guild, and quests, but if we advertise there we are aksed to advertise in our threads.

That'll be great once we figure out where to get a small banner. I can make one tonight, but I'm at work right now. sweatdrop I think we could make a post on the Welcome to the Guild Announcement for Affiliate links. 3nodding

I was thinking more along the lines of random people who request to join. It'd be hard to screen them, unless they sound like a complete and utter idiot in their few lines of a request. xd

Ok, but if they can post in full sentences in English, or come close (probably due to English as a second language), they can show up. Cool.
I was thinking we'll probably want to consider which forms of advertising might be allowed under the ToS, then use them all. smile
Heck- supposedly, there's stacks of RP Star Trek Guilds. We might want to go to them and say there's an additional guild where they can hang out, rave about Trek, and NOT RP. Choice is good. smile

Okay, I hope we can have this as a guideline, if they use Leet Speak, or go the entire request without using any periods or commas, decline. Don't bother, if they are that messed in the Head, it isn't worth it. I have seen plenty of people in ED who barely know English that can use a period. Just because they are 8 years old is not a good enough excuse.
