Well at my school they take me being Bisexual as some type of joke. That's the way I see it anyway. The girls are so stupid, the act like the are all sexed up by me, thinking i'm going to look but I dont because I'm uninterested. The guys always say that they want a girlfriend like me and then make fun by saying that I was on a girl last night and stuff like that. I never tell my best friends though. They say they're bi but I dont believe them.

Hmm. My parents don't really care about me being bi/lesbian (I'm slowly turning into a lesbian, it seems..), and my friends have been quite okay with it too. :0 Most of my friends are homosexuals themselves, or they just support gay people. My school doesn't mind (.. I'm in a Christian school, uh), nobody really cares.
.. so, I've got no problem expressing my sexuality.

I've been very quiet about it ... Only telling people I've known for a long time and feel I can trust ... As the year progressed I grew more open about it ... And so far, with one exception, everyone that I told seem to be perfectly fine with it ... But I refuse to tell my parents ... Everytime something about bi or gays come up in they news, they get all uncomfortable with it and start going off about, "It's not natural!!!!!" and crap like that ...

I know how you feel about your parents Tora. I have not told anyone I am bi except for a select few of my online friends. I already know that if I ever fin a life partner only my father and my step sister will ever be told. My own mother I swear is a homophobe! She just will not admit it. She is very big into the, it is not natural belief. But the things that really tick me off is how she says, gays and lesbians never stay with one person and just sleep around getting diseases. It takes a whole LOT of self control not to tell her my exact thoguhts on that.
It's so hard sometimes being around her. Like when we were in a hotel room ith my sister putting together stuff for my older sisters weding. The tv was showing some news article on bisexuals and both my mom and sister kept joking and talking about how bi does not exsist and its just a road to gay town. I sat there wanting to just scream and cry,"So what I'm invisiable then because I'm bi??!!"
My father and my step sister are probably the only people that would accept me if I came out. My dad is very comfroting and I luv him to death. I guess I'm more of a daddies girl. And my step sis, well she is more of a sister then my real one ever was. She shares my same view on these kinds of matters. We both beleive if someone is gay, bi, straight, whatever it's there choice and it doesn't change them. They are still our friend no matter what their preferance. As long as they are happy we are.
My own friends I'm scared to tell. I know they luv me but I don't want to tell them then when we are in theatre or soemthing they will act all wierd and think i'm watcign them change costumes or soemthing. Cause personaly I am not interested in my friends that way. They are just my buddies so I wouldnt be looking anyway.
I don't understand why people can be so against anyone not strictly straight. I mean we tried discrimination before in this country and it was a horrible time and a horrible injustice to the millions of people enslaved. So if we are supposed to study our history so we do not reapet the mistake, the world has failed. Mabye people need to open there eyes and realize that discriminating aainst others will get you no where. Progress will only be made by accepting differences and working together. Until then it seems a lot of us have to remain secret or face the world that is spiraling back to massive discrimanation.

AmiraStarr, lots of text, but it was really necessary. I'm straight so I can only imagine how you feel and.. That's just terrible. I never understand how the same people saying 'love doesn't see gender' believe bisexuality is some sort of joke. >.<;
It's really terrible that you can't tell your friends. Maybe just mention bisexuality to them and gauge their reactions?
I hate how the world just can't accept people... I agree with you, you'd think humanity would learn from it's mistakes. :<

Thank you Candy. And I might try that idea of yours. It seems pretty safe and easy to do. Thanks Candy!
