I have a pretty good singing voice. I was recently asked to do the vocals for one of my friend's bands. I probably will. The problem is is that I don't really feel like just singing Led Zepplin. I would much preder to do covers of alternative music such as punk, nu-metal, and other things. I might just start up my own band in the end.
I play a little guitar (I can play one cord! Yay!) and I play a little bit of drums.

I'd jump on the chance to join a band just for the experience. but then again, i am planning on studying music in college...

My dad has a Gibson SG and a Fender Strat so we switch out and play eachother's guitars all the time.

I'm a sax player. My main instrument is alto sax. I use a YAS-875EXb, the "b" cuz that's my favorite color, and I like the mellow and dampened tone. The bari and tenor I use are my school's, I can't wait to get my own. I also double on flute and clarinet. Both of them are hand-me-downs from one of my sisters. The piccolo is mine.
This year, I'm looking forward to learning my sister's oboe. I can play a bit, but I can hardly call myself an oboe player. I also plan on petitioning the repair of the school sop sax, as well as borrowing a bass clarinet.
Oh, and I know just enough piano to get me by. That's something else I'm working on.
If I could have/ learn how to play any instrument, it'd probably be an electric stand up bass. Idk, there's just something special about bass.
I've been playing jazz for about a year now. I can't believe what I was missing. There's so much more color and freedom to express one's self in than any other musical genre I've come across. Rock was fun as a kid, but my tastes have changed over the past year. Jazz is also horribly underrated, and has a pretty bad reputation among our generation. People look at me kinda funny when they find out my band is a 6-Piece jazz combo.
What ever.

I play guitar and I suck. Alot of people tell me that I'm pretty good for a beginner but they all suck too. Never the less, I love it and I practice often so I'm not disapointed (especially since I'm fairly new and teaching myself). I'm actually a good singer. I can change my voice to match any situation (except metal. How do they scream like that?). The only problem, I'm really shy. I have a hard time singing in front of other people. I'm trying to force myself to by joining chior(excuse the spelling) and singing in public.
