Yup, Svener, you're right. How they ended it seemed just the right way to end it. But it's a strange ending for it could go either way. It could seem like it's setting up for something, or it could seem like that's all there needs to be said of the story. I guess in the end it depends on personal perception if one believes it'll continue or not.
Maybe we should feel blessed that it won't continue on because then it could end up like Inu Yasha! xp And everyone knows that'll be terrible. razz
I think that if there definately is to be a continuation in some kind of way, a movie would be best. That way the story won't drag on longer than it needs to.
I guess all we have to do now is just wait and see. biggrin

Yeah, I agree with rekkaryuu. I mean....just look at Fullmetal Alchemist.
It was just like Eureka 7, with just 50 episodes. To me, that seemed to have gone either way as well....then a movie came out, which I thought was a pretty decent movie... confused
But yeah, anyway.
The best to tie up loose ends is by doing it at the same time....
so a movie would be best thing instead of another series of 50 more episode... 3nodding

Also, they probably had several reasons. There are two things that could've happened.
One, Renton and Eureka return after one year away. So they didn't have a chance to really go anywhere if they'd JUST landed.
Second, they could be already traveling to do what Nirvash said. The REAL puzzling thing was when Axel said Renton was the only family member that "came back", when I don't recall him returning to Bellforest during the series.
What actually happened is something only the writers know. im sorry sweatdrop crying crying crying crying jrek cool rofl rofl rofl

DumberDan weeeeeellll they'll have real kids, eat breakfast together, watch tv, scold the kids, just like a reallll family..... but wait!!!!! renton is starting to bore of his life, he turns to means of "spicing it up". when his wife is asleep he sneaks on the internet and watches pr0n! its not long before eureka starts to suspect foul play and looks up internet history! they fight and decide to get divorced gonk end of season 2 gonk in the next season, THE ADVENTURES OF RAY AND CHARLES IN THE LAND OF HEAVEN!

They make babies, eat, sleep, use the "lavatory", sleep some more, visit Anemone and Domonic, play twister, have parties, send their kids to school, grow older, pay for their children's college education, Renton has a mid-life crisis in which he buys a fancy sportscar, and they die.
And they dance with all the other dead people in heavon.

I bet that when... seems more of an Anemone thing to do... that when she's in labor and Dominic's shoving the video camera in her face and being all obnoxiously supportive, she'll spit in his face (figuritively and I guess literally, too) and scream with spite and extreme anger and loathing "YOU DID THIS TO ME!! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!"
And she'll later get revenge on him by doing... things... which are unspeakable... ninja
And then the kids will take after their mom and be evil and flush all of Dominic's stuff down the toilet, like his wallet and car keys and mascara and stuff.
And then Gulliver will be like some fat lazy cat and just be in the way and messy and evil and angry and when he's old crotchety and ornry just like an old person! biggrin
Wow... life is grand! biggrin

svener Actually, I think you people need to accept the fact that there might not be anything else! Let's face that it was a nigh perfect ending. There were even subtle hints that the series could and would not continue. You also have to understand that the series has been done in japan for almost a year. I'll haft to admit that I was satisfied with the end. It was the potential possibilities of what could happen after that kept me a fan for so long. Even now it's only my Fic that drives me along with the manga. But, if you do want to know what happens next. Go and read my fan-fic : D! (Which has been momentarily paused due to my procrastination, laziness, school, and all out annoyance at this new character. zerokuun88 What do you think Renton will do now that he can live peacefully with Eureka??? In the end they dissapper, and the kids are living with Axel, and the third summer of love happened. The whole seires ended so abrutly, like evangelion.
