i love this movie too. it's really hot! ewan plays a great iggy pop/lou reed, and johnathan ryhs meyers is a beatiful man, really great for the part. has a very androginy (?) quality in his face.

I do know that Oscar Wilde was like...fabulously queer. It's the only connection I can think of, but I'm sure I must be missing something.

From what I hear they actually directly quote Wilde quite a few times in the movie. Gahh I want to see it so bad! gonk *is a major Wilde fan* (well you could probably guess that from my name).
