Hiru walked up to the shrine and found the door unlocked. It seemed that the people who were usually in charge of keeping this place neat and tidy had even forgotten to lock the door before they left one final time.
Still, Hiru was going to do his job. He went to the nearest closet and looked for equipment. In a corner, he hound a dirty mop. A bit disgusting but he spat out a bit water on it to clean it up minimally.
He turned around and was startled by a monk who had apparently been staring at him for some time with a strange smile. "You must be here for cleaning", he enquired."Y..yes..", Hiru answered, somewhat startled."Perfect! There aren't that many of us left so we never really had time to tidy up the place. The ceiling is especially disgusting but we have no ladders or means to get there... hope you're resourceful!", the monk explained. "You better be careful though, I could have sowrn I've seen some of these pieces of gunk eat unsuspecting rats...", he added ina very mundane tone. "...""Good luck!".

Ceremonial stage needs cleaning
Description: The ceremonial stage is a very holy place. It is also very dirty. The shrine is rather large and may take a long time to clean.
Requirements: Wall walking, Dex: 13, 20 post of at least five lines each. Or 10 successful Spot checks for dirt with a DC of 15

Hiru took a few moments to analyze the monumental task that lied ahead. This stage was absolutely digusting. There was mold everywhere, the were even debris that had fallen on the stage itself and no one had bothered to clear them out. Hiru started by taking the fallen wood planks and stone blocks outside to at least make the stage useable.

Now that the stage was clear, he noticed that some of the wooden planks from the floor had detached or fissured from the impact of the falling debris. He took a few moments to put as many of them back in place as he could. He'd have to find a way to make them all stick together now but he wasn't sure how.

Now, all the planks were in place but practically none were stable and he didn't have a hammer to nail everything in place. That's when he had an idea. He did a few hand seals and said: "Suiton: Mizuame Nabara!".
Cp: 150 - 40 = 110
In an instant he covered the stage with sticky syrup that lodged in every crack between the planks and stabilized the whole as it took. Hiru was pretty proud of his idea!

However, he soon realized that this idea had greatly increased his workload... It was great that the glue had dripped between the planks but now it also covered the whole floor. He now had to waste additional time mopping the glue that covered the floor so that the people who walked on it wouldn't get stuck in place...

After nearly an hour of removing the excess syrup, Hiru was now ready to resume his cleaning. He noticed that the ceiling was disgustin. A particular protuberance of mold caught his attention as it appeared it had slightly moved since he had first noticed it when he entered. He immediately went to it and wacked it twice with his mop before cleaning it right off.

Hiru turned around and spotted another moving pile of dirt but this one was actually looking right at him. "This place hasn't been cleaned in so long it's almost as though it allowed dirt to... evolve...", he couldn't help but think. Hiru ran across the ceiling and swung his mop at the sticky pile as hard as he could, making it fall into the bucket he had left on the ground.

"This is going to be more than a one man job...", Hiru realized. Staying very careful so he wouldn't lose his mop, Hiru made a few hand seals and said "Mizu bunshin no jutsu.".
Cp: 110 - 45 = 75
Immediately, three bunshins formed from the bucket on the ground and started scrubbing around the stage, trying to find as much gunk as they could.

The numbers increased the speed at which the work was getting done. You could hear across the room Hiru's yelling, scrubbing, and occasionaly wacking away at certain things. All in all the place was looking brighter and brighter. The original Hiru's job was to keep mending the ceiling which he did. He even glued a few wooden beams back in place with his syrup.

In the distance Hiru noticed that what he had originally thought was a black wall was actually supposed to be a golden mosaic right above the door. He realized it when he wasn't sure if the black wall was dirty with gold dust or if it was the opposite. Very carefully, he scrubbed what appeared to be a priceless antiquity completely clean.

Next, he realized that the reason the place seemed so dark was because the windows had nearly all been either completely blocked by debris or not been cleaned for the last ten years. The Mizu Hirus had cleared most of the rubble but now these windows needed serious scrubbage. A bit tired but still as dedicated, Hiru dipped his mop in water bucket and scrubbed away once more at the dozens of windows.

Once the stage was cleared and fixed, the ceiling had been scrubbed, and the windows had been cleaned, Hiru high fived his three bunshins who immediately dove in the bucket, reverting to water form. Hiru wiped the sweat off his brow with the satisfaction of a job well done. On his way out he cleaned the door's handle and closed it shut. With a big smile on his face Hiru returned to the village, wondering what he could do next while waiting for graduation.
