I'd probably choose Aeris or Tifa because they are both the sex.

Dread Lycan Aeris, because she is the greatest and the Cetra need to repopulate the planet. Am I reading too much into the 'repopulating' bit, Lycan? As for the question... my fave chars are Vincent, Cid and Nanaki. However, which ones I would want to be stuck on an island with are a totally different matter. Vincent is far too 'emo' for me to talk to... I'd need to slap him (love him as I do). Nanaki is cute but far to insecure for me... another slapping might be needed. Cid... Cid is a whole other matter... I could have brilliant drinking and slanging matches with our beloved Captain... but I'd have to ban him from smoking, unless he got onto cigars. I hate cigarettes, but cigars are delicious. However, that could only keep us going so long. So... Cid Highwind, or maybe Shera... beautiful, intellegent woman... I could relate... lol

Oh..... Man. I don't know who I would choose. ( scratches my head and thinks )
Well, Cloud would be a good choice... but then again, he's silent, and I have to talk to someone with a set amount of time or I will go crazy.
Barret, though I hate him so much, has a gun, and we will need to protect ourselves if ( and they will ) any wild animals attack.
Tifa... Dang. All I have to say is that we can talk and make smoothies some how.
Red XII's cool. I mean, come on! He's a dog! Who doesn't like dogs!?
Aeris. Now her I can get along with. She's so kind and affectionate, and I am kinda the same way too. ( I really mean it )
Yuffie? Screw her. She's useless.
Vincent.... meh.
Cid? I hate him too.
And forget about Cait Sith.

I would have to either go with "Teh Awesomeness" (Cloud), "Teh Pwnzorness" (Vincent), or "Teh Smexyness" (Tifa), cause 1. Cloud is just awesome 2. Vincent looks so cool and i want to learn where he got his clothes and the gauntlet 3. With Tifa I could die a happy man 3nodding

Hmm.... this is hard.... I guess i would pick either Zack or Cloud.
Zack (if he was alive) because he is a fun guy but is serious when he has to. he is kind and just so cute! whee heart
Cloud because he is strong and cool but kinda being emo would be a problem....he would be to quiet but i guess thats ok. 3nodding heart
Other choices I would go with would be Tifa and Yuffie as well.
Tifa because she is so cool! and she can teach me martial arts. cool mrgreen
Yuffie because we can make a plan to steal everyones materia once we are rescued or other sneaky plans. twisted xp

I would have to say Cloud. His abilities might prove useful on a lonely island. Plus, he has connections with Cid, which means connections with the airships, which leads to bye bye little island.

Aeris! Because she's nice, and she'd need me to survive. We'd become very close, and then the cetra would be repopulated.
If I had to choose a guy, it'd be Cloud, ebcause I want to see if all that I've learned about sword fighting in martial arts classes, and armed combat contests has paid off.
Since I'm a smartass, I'd choose Cait Sith, firstly because he kicks a**, and secondly, Reeve could just tell everyone where I'm at.

I would say tifa cause shes a great person. if i was in trouble she would help. or reno for a comic relief or vincent cause hes just the coolest of the characters. i would not have out of them alll cloud cause he is a pansy. u can beat the game with him at lv 7. cause sephiroths stats r based off of clouds.
