Tochi Yamoto Tochi walked down to the kitchen after placeing Takara In her bed. He noticeh Xitha acros the way. Noting that he had seen her before, but never met her, he walked over. "hi, I'm Tochi Yamoto." Xitha smiled at the slightly familiar-looking man. "Hello Tochi, I'm Xitha Moonglen. May I ask if I've seen you before?" she said politely. She felt she had perhaps seen him around, just never met him before. Xitha grinned lightly at Lux and the others. "Did you all prepare this meal? It smells wonderful!" Xitha said. She noticed that Shinta was still here and looking happier than when she had first met him. "Oh, Shinta, everyone enjoyed the last meal you made. Did you actually get to enjoy any of it?" she asked, remembering that she had not seen him again that night. Until he showed himself at the gate, anyway.

He turned to Lux. He bowed and than had a poderous look on his face. "Lux, Lux Fontaine? I was once given an order to take you out. Huh small world." he suddenly winced as he realised what he said, and the fact that he was still wareing his swords.

Lux raised an eyebrow slightly as she carefully took in Tochi's appearance. She couldn't recall seeing him before, but if he had been hired as an assasin then she wouldn't have. If he were good, anyway.
"Well, I hope those orders aren't in effect anymore. May I ask who your employer was? I have a fairly legitimate guess, but then again there are many who would like me dead," Lux said wryly.
In answer to Xitha's question, she said, "Yes, we did make this breakfast, and we did so with the rest of the residents in mind, so if you'd like please help yourself! But tell me-was the officer looking for our friend sent off? 'Cause I didn't stick around long enough to see."

Wow, everyone's demons are coming to haunt them here, eh? Xitha thought to herself.
"I think I will have some breakfast, thank you. French toast is one of my favorites. And yes, the official was deterred successfully," Xitha said with a glance in Shinta's direction.
She realized that not everyone here knew someone had come looking for the "Demon Sword"; she thought it was wise of Lux to not mention any names.

Samurai X walks in to the kitchen. "Hello what is there to eat in this place???", he asks to any one that could hear him. He walks around alittle to see what the kitchen had in it and it had alot. He finds some real food and takes it. As he starts scarfing the chicken and rice he notices no one else had seen nor heard him so he goes and investigates.

He blushed and looked away. "Well, that's very chivalrous of you, Tochi. Though I'm sure the women would be quite capable of defending themselves, that's still very chivalrous." Lux liked chivalrous men. It made them much easier to take care of if they refused to raise a hand against a female, even if she was one of the most feared hunters alive.
Lux watched the new arrival walk in and walk out, then shrugged. He seemed to move around quite a bit.
Turning back to Tochi, she said, "So! I trust you are recovered from whatever it was that sent you unconscious and into the dirt?"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH There faces have all been ripped off!!!"
After that Samurai X wakes up in a cold sweat. "Few is was just a dream" he says in great relief. Then he goes down to the kitchen to see what there really is in there and he cooks up some chicken and rice.

Xitha remembered seeing Travis in a very rundown state, similar to the condition Lux had been describing.
"Tochi, you wouldn't happen to be a friend of Travis', would you? He was a great help to me back in my hometown and I saw him at the gates earlier. He and Cole were talking, though, so I figured I'd catch up with him later," Xitha said, wondering just what the men had faced.

He was watching her for any sign of hostility. He had killed women before, but fount no pleasure in it. Tochi had his back to a wall, Ceres and Koge, his left Kodachi, in hand. He faced his tracker with perfect calm. as the masked man approached, he slashed up with Ceres. The attacker jumped back as the mask fell off. Reveiling a female face. She gave a cry of rage and tossed the shurikens and followed with a sword slash. Tochi deflected the stars and ducked the slash, kogeslid into her heart and as Tochi spun and put Ceres in through her back. He absent mindedly grabbed some french toast and scarfed it.

" Tochi smiled at the thought of Travis wilingly fighting beside such a beautiful woman. Perhaps he was over his phobia

((actually, I have to go too. My friends are taking me to lunch; I'll see you guys later!))
Lux leaned back in her seat, eyes looking out the window and towards the gardens.
She had drawn her favorite blade again, and was flipping it casually in the air. She always did this when she was think; it was simply habit.
The blade shone in the light as she flipped and caught it. She glanced at the dagger and dug her whetstone from the pouch on her hip.
Rising, she went to the sink and wet the stone. Leaning against the counter, Lux carefully drew the blade across the stone, the rasping of metal on stone filling the kitchen. Lux never let any of her blades grow rusty with disuse.

((Sorry I haven't been on!)) Shinta was distracted for a few moments after Sasha embraced him. He bent his head sheepishly until the color of his cheeks no longer resembled his hair. Then he nodded and smiled at Sasha and Lux. Xitha Moonglen "Did you all prepare this meal? It smells wonderful!" Xitha said. Shinta smiled, "This one has other matters to attend to, however it is good to know that everyone enjoys my cooking." His smiling face concealed a feeling of shock and suprisingly fierce protectiveness, then relief, at overhearing Tochi's confession. He then gave Lux and Xitha a look of quiet gratitude for their trust in him and turned his attention back to Tochi. "This lowly one hopes you are recovering well from your quest Yamato-san?"

((WB Shinta!))
The dagger slid back home into it's sheath as Lux rejoined the others at the table. She propped her feet up on an unused chair and sipped her juice with a blank expression on her face
Her mind had gone back to her own tasks; first she had to find someone who could tell her where her uncle might be, then she had to discover just what "mistake" her uncle had made.
What in hell would Uncle do that would put the government on his tail? Lux had puzzled over this question many times, but she was no closer to finding an answer now than she had been in the past. Her uncle had taught her caution and wariness; she ould not believe that this same man could commit so huge an error.
Well, it all started in Issa. I have no choice but to go back, Lux thought hopelessly.
